Behind every successful patrol is a crew that keeps the cutter operational. Aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stone, Machinery Technicians keep propulsion, power, and critical systems operating to ensure the cutter remains ready to operate and respond. Through Operation Pacific Viper, CGC Stone and other U.S. Coast Guard units have interdicted over 170K pounds of cocaine since early August. That took a total team effort. As a Machinery Technician, Smallboat Engineer, and Boarding Team Member, Petty Officer Fair ensured CGC Stone was always ready to operate and deliver results wherever the mission took the crew.
