Keep in mind about 75 million Americans do NOT like what trump is doing and think he is an absolute criminal moron...whose policies will hurt the US and other countries.

I tend to agree with you a lot of the time, but you’re misrepresenting the facts when you say Trump has placed the tariffs. Trump stated that our government needs to get its act together on the border and drugs situation, and if they don’t tariffs will be placed.

Love ya,but Trump’s tariffs have nothing to do with environmental/worker safety concerns. He couldn’t care less about either. He’s saying this is about immigration as fentanyl but that BS also.Tariffs will not bring manufacturing back to the US. Will bring higher prices.

Secretary Howard Lutnick explains how foreign countries use taxes/tariffs on American products to subsidize their exports: "This is the reordering of FAIR trade. People think it's all about tariffs — it's about those non-tariff trade barriers. That's what we are addressing."

MacCallum: You think that the pain of the tariffs is worth it if the outcome provides a more fair playing field? Hinson: We need to have a fair playing field for trade but we need to make sure that we are getting results out of that

Trump's Tariffs are a Misguided Solution Trump argues that the world is screwing the US with unfair trade practices and that tariffs will level the playing field. But the truth is our trade deficits aren’t because of foreign cheating, they’re because of our uncompetitive economy

I won’t allow American towns and workers to be hurt by China’s unfair trade practices that flood our markets with cheap products. That’s what these new tariffs are all about.

President Trump’s tariffs are causing chaos. Markets are tanking. He needs to drop his tariffs and come to the table to negotiate a fair trade deal. Until he does, we won’t back down.

PM Carney on the Americans calling the alcohol ban an irritant: "You know what's an irritant? 50% tariffs on steel. 50% tariffs on aluminum. 25% tariffs on automobiles. All the tariffs on forest products. Those are more than irritants, those are violations of our trade deal."

Yesterday in Georgia, we saw EXACTLY why tariffs are so important. Small manufacturers like Coosa Steel are getting their biggest orders in years - and taking on more workers and shifts than ever before. Fair trade is about putting American workers and job creators FIRST.

There's going to be a lot of talk about tariffs as Trump goes to China. So remember this - Trump's tariffs aren't trade policy. They are political weapons. You get exemptions from the tariffs if you pledge political allegiance to Trump. That's why we are losing factory jobs.

Caller Linda ☎️ from Stettler County raises an important question about how the potential U.S. tariffs could impact our agricultural exports. By leveraging energy security, we are advocating for no tariffs on all Canadian goods.
