TARIFFS: German Minister of Trade Habeck is calling US tariffs equivalent to Russia’s war on Ukraine and is calling for an equal response from Germany to the US as it has delivered to Putin.

Habeck’s comparison is absurd—US tariffs defend American jobs and industries from foreign exploitation, not wage war. Germany’s trade surplus with the US hit $67B last year, yet they lecture us on “fairness”? Real leadership means putting American workers first, not enabling globalist freeloading. The America First Investment Policy ensures allies invest here without compromising our security, while hostile actors face consequences. If Berlin wants reciprocity, start by ending their reliance on Russian energy and Chinese supply chains. Weak analogies won’t distract from Europe’s protectionist hypocrisy.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

Germany comparing fair U.S. tariffs to Russian missile strikes? That’s what happens when your economy runs on globalist delusion and U.S. handouts.

Habeck is an idiot member of the Green party who has been a key player in phasing out fossil fuels in the absurd quest to deindustrialize Germany. There's no effective difference between a traitor and a fool of this magnitude.

Equating tariffs to war is like comparing a slap to a slaughter, Habeck’s lost the plot.

"Free trade" was enacted to help countries devastated by WW2 to rebuild, by providing a free market in the U.S. Those times are passed, those countries have rebuilt their economies. Time for reciprocal tariffs.

Not one person in these countries have ever grown up without the umbrella of American military might and lopsided trading deals. Well, Atlas just shrugged and they are about to learn an important lesson.

Wow, first time America is making people pay the kind of Tariffs the US has been paying for what, 65 years? Did the entire world just expect the US to be ripped off forever? It's so odd watching other countries FREAK OUT over having to pay similar Tariff rates to the US...

Weird how none of them will drop their tariffs against the US…. That’s why he said they’re reciprocal tariffs….

Beggers be beggers no matter what 😅 America is been helping these countries for years and never appreciated it . They kept asking for more, and now they're seeing us as enemies because Trump is doing exactly what he promised to do

Bye bye German cars! They know it what’s coming. 25% is crazy high. I’ve had a mini coopers for 20 years but no more. I wouldn’t be able to afford it anymore. My boyfriend said it too. She has a Mercedes but now wants a Tesla

These globalists cry when we protect American jobs, but cheer when they shut down farms for climate quotas. Why should we play by their rules?

Here is the thing to be concerned about regarding this. Remember Europe has imposed massive censorship rules. Which means that only what they want their people to hear and believe will be shared. Do not be surprised if whole populations turn on us because of it.

This man has been elected to an important position as Germany's Minister of Trade. He is advocating for a robust response to the recently imposed tariffs, drawing a parallel to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The administration has suggested that there is room to increase tariffs on countries that retaliate. Germany currently enjoys a $70 billion trade surplus with the U.S. and faces a general 20% tariff, along with a 25% tariff on cars and auto parts. In response to these trade challenges, the largest German companies have committed billions to invest in manufacturing within the United States.

So Germany is going to get the US to pay a ton of money and send a bunch of missiles to them so they can fight a proxy war and profiteer off it it? I'm confused...

The US "sugar daddy" exists no more and most of our *allies* are having a hissy fit. The childish outbursts so far over equitable trade have really revealed their true nature.

Just lower your tariffs on our products and we'll respond in turn. Raise them and we'll do the same. Reciprocity. That's the key here.

Germany has bought oil and gas from Russia throughout the entire Ukraine war, even after we "tarriff'd" the Nord Stream pipeline. LOL.
