India is now home to over 2 lakh government-recognised startups, with over 44,000 entities recognised this year alone, the highest in a year since the inception of the Startup India initiative. What makes this success sweeter is that nearly 48% of these startups have at least one woman director/partner. These startups have also helped generate over 21 lakh direct jobs. PM Narendra Modi ji's clarion call for an #Aatmanirbhar #ViksitBharat has garnered strong support from our budding entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors. An exclusive aerial survey has exposed 76.74 acres of illegal encroachment inside the protected Mangalam Peta forest lands in the eastern ghats, linked to former Forest Minister and senior leader Sri Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy (Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy) garu. Hon’ble Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan visited the site, reviewed the violations, briefed Hon’ble CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu garu, and Cabinet Ministers, and immediately ordered a comprehensive probe. Pawan Kalyan directed officials to: 🔸Publish the names of all forest land encroachers on the department website. 🔸Reveal the extent of encroachment and the status of cases on each individual. 🔸Take strict legal action against anyone who grabbed forest land, without exceptions. 🔸Investigate discrepancies in land records, including inflated Webland entries and false claims of “ancestral land” inside protected forest areas. 🔸Act based on vigilance reports and legal expert guidance. 🔸Digitize all land records to prevent manipulation and ensure transparency. SEZ reforms have been notified to promote investments and manufacturing. The area required for setting up a factory has been reduced to 10 hectares from the earlier 50 hectares. Moreover, manufacturers have also been allowed to supply domestically after payment of applicable duties. 🔸 Good news for leather exporters, especially those in the MSME sector. Port restrictions on export of finished, wet blue, and EI tanned leather have been removed, which means they can be exported from any port or Inland Container Depots across the country. Also, mandatory testing and certifications have been removed. 🔸India is cementing its position as the preferred global investment destination with FDI inflow of $81.04 Bn in FY 2024-25, growing by 14% over 2023-24. Manufacturing FDI has grown by 18% during the same period, reaching $19.04 Bn, in a big boost to 'Make In India' 🔸All-women Farmers Producer Company in Odisha gets to send their produce of the famous Amrapali mangoes to Italy.
