Teaching tip: Several years ago, I've retired the question "Do you have any questions?" and replaced it with "Ask me at least 2 questions" to help normalize questions in the classroom.

Love the " asking questions just mean you're curious." I think this will be a poster in my room. I tell them that asking questions makes you a teacher as you're helping others in the class who are too shy to ask.

Yes. I knew the value of student questioning and setting classroom goals for generating their questions. The teacher should not be the only one asking questions.

I heard it once as, "what kinds of questions do you think someone would have?" It was meant for a business setting.

This takes "what questions do you have" a step further! Will definitely be one of the changes I make this year. Thank you!
