Teching & Airdodge Teching

I remember being shocked that they changed this in a patch (at launch you were forced to tech roll in the same direction as the horizontal component of your airdodge)

lost a game once because I got sent offstage and tried to air-dodge to ledge and instead it air-dodged in and teched the wall behind the ledge so I got spiked 😔

is this why i keep fucking airdodging and instead of teching in rivals of aether

@LittleMacMainKO You know, I have a horrible habit of SDing because I airdodge toward the stage, accidentally tech, and miss input, and I never got what I was doing to cause that. Now I do, thank you!

I used to do that Directional Dodge into Tech the other way quite often idk why I haven't used it recently 🤔🤔

throwback to release patch of ult where this buffered a tech roll of whatever direction you airdodged completely removing this mindgame

You can also get slide offs from platforms using directional airdodge into tech ^^
