So the โtechnicianโ shorted out all the terminals. Letโs see what happens when the system is turned on.

if u have 2 brain cells: Never do that

You're welcome.

The rca connector shield is a ground sleeve and is already grounded internally in the device. Bonding the shields and shunting them to ground sooner was useful in high RF/EMI environments. They could act like antennas.

How to fry your sound system: Part 1.

๐คจ Is this supposed to be a jokeโ๏ธ

how i envy the blind sometimes.

Well, the outer jack is ground, so maybe it will help reduce signal noise giving a better ground, but the connections inside should already be good enough.

kalo soal kabel ginian jgn coba2

Why not try it?

Well the outer part of the rca jack is already electrically grounded to the chassis so that it completely useless.

What not to do

What did I just watch? Be well.

Dumbest thing I have ever seen.

LOL

Now plug it into the wall...

Nonsense

ribet gaksi kalau kabel gini

Enggak dong kak

This is click-bait... but i will not bite... although, that's the dumbest thing i've seen today... and that's saying a lot.

All depends on where the other end of the wire goes.

What the fuck

that audio connection is not chassis grounded. Dumbest thing I've ever seen

Great idea!, one can never have enough ground! Another trick is to try turn the wall plug 180 degrees in case of "Humming"

That was truly painful to watch. Now install it into the car and turn the stereo on, I want to see the outcome. Morbid curiosity.

The outer shell of each of those connectors is already connected together to the chassis ground where that screw is. Thereโs no reason to wrap the wires like that. It will do nothing electronically except maybe create an antenna.

Wtf

Do not learn electrical connections from X.

Iโm waiting for the second video where warm salty water is poured over and into the rca jacks.

How to make a ground loop....complete with 60hz buzzing...

Keren banget tekniknya

It's good, right? You can try it.

As a auto technician I can tell you this is the electrical version of dumping a bucket of water on a toilet and calling yourself a plumber I guess you never specified your a good technician

useless, as cinch-socket sleeves are already connected to the chassis ground

enak banget ya

These third world โsolutionsโ videos are a menace to this site. Any time I see grimy brown hands doing something half-assed, I block.

This is a very practical garage storage system. I'm tempted.
