I am thinking this might now become my favorite pic to use whenever someone uses analytics to makes excuses for a .220 hitter. Feel free to steal!

.344 lifetime hitter, highest OBP of all time, literally wrote the book on hitting. The Science of Hitting has been in print for over 50 years. It should be required reading for every position player getting a scholarship or cashing a check.

Ted would destroy today’s pitching. He might strike out slightly more, but he’d hit bombs.

These kids barely knew who Ted was, and he’s name-dropping Rogers Hornsby.
