The "tea-seller at a non-existent railway station" story has been debunked repeatedly, yet it is peddled to craft a false underdog image. Modi’s childhood photos in a suit and tie and NCC uniform, his foreign tours as a young adult as per his own claims, and other evidence contradict the assertions of “absolute poverty.” While it is true that he did not have an elite education, he himself stated in TV interviews that he had minimal formal education. Furthermore, his penchant for a luxurious lifestyle, expensive attire, high-end gadgets, and customised Boeing jets contradicts the humble-origins-to-power tale. Modi’s background, while not elite, was far from destitute, and his lifestyle today screams opulence, not humility. The claim that Modi embodies "civilisational confidence" by speaking Hindi internationally is hollow when his governance aligns with foreign deep-state agendas. His ties to the CIA-linked ACYPL, of which he is an alumnus, and policies promoting wokeism in education and governance raise questions about whose interests he serves. Far from being a civilisational warrior, Modi’s tenure has seen India’s diplomatic clout wane—evidenced by the lack of global support after tragedies like the #Pahalgam massacre, where 25 Hindus were killed by Islamic terrorists, and the fiasco of Operation Sindoor to deceive gullible Hindus. Even traditional allies like Russia have grown distant. His economic deals, often hyped, lack transparency and tangible outcomes for India’s masses. The hallmark of Modi’s diplomacy is personal branding at government expense, to the detriment of India, in pursuit of foreign awards and the elusive Nobel Prize. Modi’s governance has allegedly perfected corruption into an art and science, and it has grown exponentially, as evidenced by the Electoral Bonds scheme, which the Supreme Court struck down with scathing remarks. Transparency in Modi’s governance is a joke, with the RTI Act nearly neutralised, and secrecy has become the norm, as evidenced by the PM CARES Fund, reportedly breeding organised corruption. The claim of restoring civilisational self-respect is equally laughable. Hindus continue to be second-class citizens, and #Minority_Appeasement has increased by leaps and bounds, putting the Congress and other parties to shame. With his divisive "hisab chukta" policies, he has escalated casteism to new heights, destroying Hindu society. His refusal to amend Articles 25–30 to grant #EqualRightsForHindus, to #FreeTemples from government control, and his continuation and incentivisation of policies that make India the second-largest #Beef exporter, as well as his refusal to ban #Polygamy and #FCRA expose a betrayal of civilisational interests. 12 years! Unchallenged at the top! Narendra Modi has a dream tenure in the government and in BJP . PM will have a much longer tenure than Pandit Nehru. Modi is having much stronger grip over his party and the government than Indira ji ever had. His handling of the BJP Parliamentary board (let’s expect reshuffle in it soon, as well) is as clever as P.V. Narsimha Rao’s handling of CWC. He has enhanced the base of RSS many times more than what all Vajpayee ji and Advani ji could manage in their prime time. No other prime minister of India has by plan and with help of his/her charisma tried to reach out in nooks and corners of India the way Modi has done it. It’s at unprecedented massive scale and first time ever. Modi launched schemes to build toilets, reenergised scheme of building of homes for poor, helped open bank accounts, increased power connections, did DBT, distributed LPG gas via subsidies. All of it first time. Only this one chapter of his governance has helped him to feel distinct if compared to his predecessors. Although ‘the last mile development’ of building homes and toilets etc is an ongoing task, there are anomalies and its incomplete but the government is allocating huge budget gives hope that poor class will keep getting little more than before. A lot remains to be done. There are many big-time failures, too. The task is incomplete and not balanced, yet. People’s expectations are much higher than PM’s accomplishments. That’s a good thing. Let’s see, while handling his third tenure, how and where he will take the country, his government and his party. In his most difficult phase of third tenure Modi has got an incredible boost in form of victory in West Bengal. It’s evident that behind the PR and propaganda of the government and the ruling party there is a loner in Seva Tirth who is keeping calm and knows precisely what next.

I note Prime Minister Andrew Holness’s remarks in a TV interview this morning. Neither he nor his Party has made those proposals as part of the process of constitutional reform. His proposals are therefore not in the report of the Constitutional Reform Committee, and will not be in the new Constitution coming out of that process. Furthermore, Mr. Holness’s proposals are not in the existing Constitution, and would violate the existing Constitution. This is in keeping with his and his Government’s unfortunate history of past violations of the Constitution of Jamaica. It seems that the Prime Minister wants to make up a rule which is not part of the Constitution or laws of Jamaica, to suit his Party’s political fortune at a time when it is waning. He has no power and no authority to do that. He needs to tell the country why his statutory declarations to the Integrity Commission cannot be certified. I am compliant with the Constitution and laws of Jamaica, and I undertake to the People of Jamaica that I will continue to be so.

See the kind of hatred this convert, Bh@dwa Prakash Raj, has toward the Bhagwa, the RSS, and even the Prime Minister of India. He cannot tolerate a government that stands for Hindus. He does not merely propagate propaganda against the government and Hindus; it is his deep hatred toward Hindus that drives him. He is constantly trying to incite riots against Hindus and the government. He is a naxal. This is what happens when someone gets converted. Converts are a threat to indigenous people and to the integrity of the nation.

The film doesn't contain a single 'actor's piece' for the performer to 'give away' the director's purpose, to play the conception of the persona, his attitude to it, to assess it in relation to the overall idea; and the latter is entirely hidden within the dynamic of the characters' lives, at one with it. The people in the film are crushed by circumstances; they act only in accordance with their situation, to which they themselves are subordinate; they make no attempt to proffer us any idea, any perspective on what is happening, or to draw any conclusion. All of that is left to the film as a whole, to the director's vision. And how superbly it is accomplished! You cannot say in simple terms who amongst them is good or bad. But when circumstances nevertheless force him to defend himself, he instantly turns into a scoundrel. When he beats her about the face and says 'Get out!' she goes crawling after him. There is something here of the age-old idea of passive good and active evil; but its expression is immensely complex. At the beginning of the film the hero cannot even kill a chicken, but as soon as he has found a way of defending himself he becomes a cruel cynic. At a farewell lunch in Delhi when I was about to leave for London on my posting as India’s Deputy High Commissioner to the UK in 1999, PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji who was then a private citizen and a Pracharak had promised to visit me in London. That visit couldn’t materialise, but I had the privilege of hosting him during my posting in India at UN, Geneva when he visited Geneva in August 2003 as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to bring back the urn containing the ashes of the freedom fighter and a proud son of India Sh Shyamji Krishna Varma Ji to the motherland. Such was the farsight and focus of PM Modi Ji from the time he was the CM that he not only knew about the ashes but was also determined to fulfil the wish of the great freedom fighter that his and his wife’s and his ashes should be taken to India when it becomes independent. It is a pleasure to be with you this evening to celebrate the memory and contribution of our first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. He was the prime architect of the modern Indian nation-state. His was a life anchored firmly in parliamentary democracy. He had a steadfast belief in planned economic growth and a profound commitment to the development of scientific temper alongside the development of scientific and technological capabilities. To him, secularism — in which he firmly believed — meant the celebration of India’s many diversities while strengthening its fundamental unity. His legacy continues to shape our everyday lives. Decades have gone by since his time, but he continues to serve as a beacon of light to millions of our countrymen and women. It is inevitable that such a monumental figure will have his life and work analysed and critiqued — and that is indeed as it should be. Although the temptation to divorce him from his times and the challenges that he had to face and to look at him, devoid of the historical context in which he functioned has become quite widespread. Yet, while we welcome ongoing analysis of his contributions, what is not acceptable is the systematic attempt being made to denigrate, distort, demean and defame him. The sole objective of this is to not only diminish him as a personality but also his universally recognised role in India's independence struggle and his early decades as a leader of an independent nation challenged by unprecedented problems, but it is also to demolish his multifaceted legacy in a crude and self-serving attempt to rewrite history. Analysis is one thing, but deliberate mischief with what he said, what he wrote and what he did is another thing and totally unacceptable. And who are the forces that have launched this project? We all know that they have worked for years and years—for decades—and finally, here they are. They belong to an ideology that had no role whatsoever in our freedom movement, that had no role whatsoever in the making of our Constitution. In fact, they even burnt it and were totally against it. It is an ideology that long ago fanned an atmosphere of hate that ultimately led to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi ji. His killers today continue to be glorified by its adherents. It is an ideology that has consistently rejected the ideals of our founding fathers. It is an ideology with a bigoted and viciously communal outlook. Its approach to nationhood is based on stoking prejudices of all kinds. Let there be no doubt whatsoever that the project to vilify Jawaharlal Nehru ji is the main objective of the ruling establishment today. Their goal is not just to erase him; it is actually to destroy the social, political, and economic foundations on which our nation has been founded and built. The road ahead is not easy. But there is simply no option but for each one of us, individually and collectively, to stand up and confront this project. We not only owe it to the memory of Jawaharlal Nehru ji and his comrades—we owe it to ourselves, and even more to the coming generations. The unapologetic and fierce defence of the Nehruvian legacy is not an act of nostalgia. It is a commitment to restoring India's constitutional promise, to safeguarding reason in the face of propaganda, and to ensuring that our republic remains modern and forward-looking. It is a pleasure to be with you this evening to celebrate the memory and contribution of our first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. He was the prime architect of the modern Indian nation-state. His was a life anchored firmly in parliamentary democracy. He had a steadfast belief in planned economic growth and a profound commitment to the development of scientific temper alongside the development of scientific and technological capabilities. To him, secularism — in which he firmly believed — meant the celebration of India’s many diversities while strengthening its fundamental unity. His legacy continues to shape our everyday lives. Decades have gone by since his time, but he continues to serve as a beacon of light to millions of our countrymen and women. It is inevitable that such a monumental figure will have his life and work analysed and critiqued — and that is indeed as it should be. Although the temptation to divorce him from his times and the challenges that he had to face and to look at him, devoid of the historical context in which he functioned has become quite widespread. Yet, while we welcome ongoing analysis of his contributions, what is not acceptable is the systematic attempt being made to denigrate, distort, demean and defame him. The sole objective of this is to not only diminish him as a personality but also his universally recognised role in India's independence struggle and his early decades as a leader of an independent nation challenged by unprecedented problems, but it is also to demolish his multifaceted legacy in a crude and self-serving attempt to rewrite history. Analysis is one thing, but deliberate mischief with what he said, what he wrote and what he did is another thing and totally unacceptable. And who are the forces that have launched this project? We all know that they have worked for years and years—for decades—and finally, here they are. They belong to an ideology that had no role whatsoever in our freedom movement, that had no role whatsoever in the making of our Constitution. In fact, they even burnt it and were totally against it. It is an ideology that long ago fanned an atmosphere of hate that ultimately led to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi ji. His killers today continue to be glorified by its adherents. It is an ideology that has consistently rejected the ideals of our founding fathers. It is an ideology with a bigoted and viciously communal outlook. Its approach to nationhood is based on stoking prejudices of all kinds. Let there be no doubt whatsoever that the project to vilify Jawaharlal Nehru ji is the main objective of the ruling establishment today. Their goal is not just to erase him; it is actually to destroy the social, political, and economic foundations on which our nation has been founded and built. The road ahead is not easy. But there is simply no option but for each one of us, individually and collectively, to stand up and confront this project. We not only owe it to the memory of Jawaharlal Nehru ji and his comrades—we owe it to ourselves, and even more to the coming generations. Very very important This is extremely shocking and the people of India deserve to know this. Last evening, Hon'ble Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman Sh Jagdeep Dhankar said in the House that "since the last 25 years, I have been an 'Eklavya' of the RSS". He then went on to shower praise on the RSS and said that his only "regret" was that he didn't join the RSS earlier. It was an open admission by the Hon'ble VP & Chair that he's a proud member of the RSS. Hon'ble VP & Chairman has the right to be a member of any organization that he pleases. However, 2 days ago, he expunged & removed parts of the speech of Leader of Opposition Kharge ji where he'd criticized the RSS. It is well-documented fact that the RSS is an organization that has been banned in the past for subversive activities. It is a communal organization and also, for the longest time, refused to accept the Constitution of India. Is it fair for the VP of India to be openly praising the RSS while sitting in a chair where he's expected to be neutral? It is extremely concerning and DANGEROUS that criticism of the RSS even by MPs is now being banned under the Modi Govt because the Chairman is a proud member of the RSS which he has openly admitted.
