Ford Interlocking. Used a lot in large animal surgery but I’m now seeing it more in small animal surgery. Great for high tension areas.

I can say that I like how it looks and doing it. But I am not sure what is the benefit vs a regular simple continuous. Enlighten me please.

This is how your uterus is closed during C-Section

Ford Interlocking. Nice for long horse lacerations.

Simple uninterrupted. Great for closing in a hurry.

I’ll practise this but doubt I’ll use it on the next rugby lac I’m faced with.
