This animation shows how Gulf Effect works. You need a long, cold fetch over “warm” water. We have that, although more NW wind rather than NNW would be better. You need at least a 25° difference between the Gulf temp and the cloud level. We have 40°+! And you also need decently moist air… And here’s the issue. She asked how my weekend was and I was like, oh, it was good, like BTS came back I'm a big fan of theirs, and she whips out her phone and starts showing me pictures. 👩🏻‍🦰: she has of Jimin in his live performance, and she was like, oh my god, do you know this one? Like, I'm obsessed. I was like, you're obsessed, girl, get in line. 👩🏻‍🦰: And then my boss started sending me reels of Jimin two days ago, and then today she told me, she's like, I can't stop thinking about Jimin to the extent that it's getting a little weird. 👩🏻‍🦰: And I was like, it's, I know, I can't stop thinking about him also, and it's getting a little weird but the Jimin effect is Jimin effecting.

Magaya has been exposed as a false prophet who promised fake healing; who has no O-Level qualifications; no diploma or honorary PhD from the University of South Africa which he claimed to be its alumnus (he is now under investigation for that); and who also lied that he had discovered a cure for HIV/Aids. Magaya was also accused of rape by one of the congregants and indicted, but the case has not gone to trial and seems to have been swept under the carpet. His religious career record reeks of controversy, forgery and lies.

Talk about one lucky pilot. This is a Robinson R-66 coming into a rooftop helipad in Guatemala. I’m guessing it was a hot and high environment and they didn’t quite have the performance to hover out of ground effect but they tried to stay in effective translational lift until they got over the helipad and were hoping for a little ground effect from the building to help but misjudged things. You can see the main rotor blades start to cone as the pilot probably yanked every last bit of collective out of that thing, the horn was probablygoing off and a slow clockwise rotation ensued. It’s a miracle they ended up on the last ledge of that building otherwise it would’ve been instant death. I’m a believer in a more flat approach to a pinnacle vs. a steep approach unless certain conditions prevail. I want to know what my available power is before I get to my intended landing zone knowing I either have power to spare or I’m about to max out. The best word of advice I can give you, if you get slow too early knowing you’re flying at the top of your performance limitations, give it some forward cyclic and get back into ETL. Go-arounds are free and no one should question you for going around.

One of the most unique games ever: Loom (1990) wasn't just incredibly gorgeous to look at; it also introduced a completely novel way to play adventure games. Instead of a classic inventory or command prompts, it was controlled entirely through musical notes (spells). By combining new sequences of notes, you could cast spells to interact with the environment - like opening a door or sharpening a blade. These spells were learned by observing the world around you. You could also play some notes backwards to reverse their effect (for example, open/close a door). The game was successful and attracted a much larger portion of female gamers than traditional adventures had before. It was also more appealing to beginners due to its gentler and more accessible nature (more experienced gamers found it generally a bit too easy and short). I always wondered why such a successful and brilliant game never got a sequel. Originally, two more sequels were planned, but Lucasfilm buried the idea. No clue why.

Guitarist Jimmy Page originally constructed the melody of this song at his home in Plumpton, England, where he had recently installed a studio mixing console. With a working title of "Slush", a reference to its easy listening simulated orchestral arrangement, Page was able to bring in a completed arrangement of the melody, for which singer Robert Plant wrote the words. Plant ranks his vocal performance on the track as one of his best. The song also features a Mellotron played by John Paul Jones to add to the orchestral effect, while Page plays a Danelectro guitar. Page wrote "The Rain Song" in response to George Harrison complaining to Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham that the group were unable to write ballads. In Light and Shade: Conversations with Jimmy Page, biographer Brad Tolinski quotes Page's recollection: George was talking to Bonzo one evening and said, "The problem with you guys is that you never do ballads." I said, "I'll give him a ballad," and I wrote "Rain Song," which appears on Houses of the Holy. In fact, you'll notice I even quote "Something" in the song's first two chords. The exercise that most people have never even seen that can build your chest and pressing power the most It’s an exercise that has no home, no faction has made it famous. Allow me to share the benefits First, you actually already use this concept on other exercises. You barbell row, and you single arm row. Why wouldn’t you also barbell bench, and single arm bench? Second, most people would agree they have a stronger side. Usually the dominant arm is stronger. This exercise is great for ensuring you don’t have a large strength discrepancy on your arms, and if you do, this exercise can fix that for you. Single arm pressing is also going to train the core. A lot of people new to this exercise will actually report a lot of abdominal soreness, and you get this from bracing and stabilizing the load on one side and no load on the other. The weight creates a “sling” effect for the core. This is what makes single arm bench much different than just alternating bench. Lastly I think the triceps are trained much more directly than 2 arm variations which helps transfer to not only bench but overhead press as well

The exercise that most people have never even seen that can build your chest and pressing power the most It’s an exercise that has no home, no faction has made it famous. Allow me to share the benefits First, you actually already use this concept on other exercises. You barbell row, and you single arm row. Why wouldn’t you also barbell bench, and single arm bench? Second, most people would agree they have a stronger side. Usually the dominant arm is stronger. This exercise is great for ensuring you don’t have a large strength discrepancy on your arms, and if you do, this exercise can fix that for you. Single arm pressing is also going to train the core. A lot of people new to this exercise will actually report a lot of abdominal soreness, and you get this from bracing and stabilizing the load on one side and no load on the other. The weight creates a “sling” effect for the core. This is what makes single arm bench much different than just alternating bench. Lastly I think the triceps are trained much more directly than 2 arm variations which helps transfer to not only bench but overhead press as well
