NEW: Firefighters rescue a trapped deer on a frozen lake in Stevens County, Washington. The firefighter, Gavyn Gallagher, was seen wrapping himself around the deer while others pulled them in with a rope. "District 1 crews were able to save a deer off of Loon Lake this morning. Teamwork included Fish and Wildlife officers along with local residents," the Stevens County Fire Department said in a statement. The deer was later released. Video: Daniel Poleschook via Storyful

The exercise that changed my life: The low back extension. I used to deal with chronic low back pain in my 20s and 30s. Part of my protocol was using the McGill Big 3 (bird dog, McGill Crunch, side planks) to strengthen the supportive muscles around the low back. I then used the back extension to strengthen the hips, glutes, and low back. Just a word of warning: Overextending your low back on this machine will make things worse. Activate from the hips and glutes and don't go past activation. 2-3 sets of 6-10 reps are enough to keep my low back strong, healthy, and pain free.

Strange sighting from my helicopter while traveling back from Skinwalker Ranch… There is a very remote hidden lake in the High Uintahs with reports of a prehistoric lake creature that survived. When I was first told of this place years ago, it was with a story that the Native Americans referred to the location as “Dinosaur Lake”. On our first pass flying over the lake it was absolutely still…but on our second pass, we were totally caught off guard by huge sudden movement in the lake and a fast moving trail in its wake. Upon turning the helicopter around, we saw another movement & trailing wake on the other side of the lake - it appears there were potentially two of “them”. My brother & pilot Cameron Fugal and I remained intrigued. Here’s the video:
