Tenet’s backward fight wasn’t just CGI. Nolan had actors fight in reverse. Stunt team rewound footage to teach moves. It was so intense John David Washington kicked the cinematographer and he yelled “keep going!”. CGI was used mostly for bullets & reverse explosions.

TENET (2020) gets too much hate… At least it tried to do something interesting with the concept of time travel and the visuals were amazing.

One of the few reasons—other than Covid—no one went to see this movie, was no one knew wtf JDW was or is. He has very little screen magnetism, despite being an adequate actor.

When they blew up the Deeping Wall, this wasn’t just CGI, Peter Jackson’s team blew it up for real! They rigged the 1/4-scale miniature with practical explosives and pyrotechnics, then detonated it on camera! This is why it looks so good! The team had no choice but to get it right as they only had one shot at it. The breach was enhanced with VFX for those wider shots, but the main destruction was due to old school pyrotechnics.

Sigourney Weaver and Jack Champion were unable to act the kissing scene due to the significant real-life age difference The scene was handled carefully to comply with intimacy rules and ensure comfort. So both kiri and spider (the actors) had to kiss someone else while CGI/motion capture was used to complete the rest of the scene.

WATCH 👀 Karmelo Anthony body camera footage has officially been released‼️ Karmelo can be heard in the footage immediately playing the victim pleading with officers saying he was just protecting himself. Keep in mind that according to witness testimonies Karmelo was just under an opposing teams tent calling them pussies while challenging them to fight moments before crying and playing victim in this footage. He wasn’t just “protecting himself” he provoked a conflict knowing he had a knife and then murdered Austin Metcalf when Austin tried to get him to leave. Austin wasn’t the one looking for a conflict that day. Unlike Karmelo he was where he was supposed to be. Multiple witnesses said that Austin even told Karmelo that he didn’t want to fight him. Karmelo came looking to cause trouble. He then caused that trouble. And when the police showed up he immediately code switched into playing the “dindu nuffin” victim role.
