🐰 i worked a lot with El Guincho. I got to listen to a lot of tracks and i was really wowed by just how fresh and new this was. One of the first thoughts i had was ‘wow, you can approach a song like this?’ and i felt a lot of pressure about how to make the best use of it. so that must be why i wanted to stay close, it was a totally a different vibe, a whole new vibe. i hope to work again and have another session with the producers and songwriters that we worked with

Cooper Flagg on the impact he wants to have in his career, on and off the court, in Dallas. "A lot. It means a lot to me for this to be my first city and God willing, however it goes, you know be the only city. It's the first city I've ever played basketball in and it means a lot to me. I want to be able to give back in a big way over time and it doesn't have to be all at once; but, slowly just give back to the community and show that it means a lot to me to be a part of that."

Justin Verlander, who is retiring at the end of the season, reflects on his time with the Mets: "I really fell in love with the city. It was short, obviously. Didn't go the way we wanted. There's a lot of things that were sad about it. But I think the relationship with Steve Cohen and his wife Alex, how great they were to me and my family. Getting to play that short time in New York was incredible. I still have my apartment in the city. There's not a lot of positives. I made some great relationships there. I think another thing that I appreciate was getting the chance to play with Max again, kind of rekindle that relationship after some years away. Just a lot of growth. I remember my daughter like bebopping around the city in her little scooter. Just a lot of, like, life memories there. It was a cool time for me in my life."

🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

Yeah, maybe the format was a set back in the past, but at the same time there’s a lot of positives to it as well. And one of the things that a lot of players kept mentioning is you don’t have a wave weather difference, where you can simply get unlucky and you’re out of contention for that tournament. It’s part of the game, I get it, but it’s something you don’t have to deal with anymore. So that part is a very nice aspect. The team is what really made it for me. Being able to be part of a team, represent a team, play for my teammates, with my teammates and against my teammates, is something that to me that has always been very, very special. When you get a victory to share, it’s always better to have a team to share it with. So it’s what was the most attractive part and when we started discussions it gets to a point where even though I’m ambitious, I’m not greedy. So there’s a give and take and the format is something that I can easily overlook, and I’m pretty sure I can learn to enjoy it, I’ll just have to get used to it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll learn to enjoy it. Raven was asked when he was in ECW, was the goal to get back to WWE or WCW? “I was really happy at ECW but yes, I wanted to go back to WWE. I wanted to be the top guy in the top promotion. I got to be the top guy in the number three promotion. And for a long time, I felt like my career was a failure because of that. I think I talked about it in the movie, in the documentary, but it took a lot of time on a therapist couch to let myself off the hook. Because you hold yourself to such a high standard that I can’t see the forest for the trees. If anybody would have came up to me and told me what my career was, and it was theirs. Peter Thiel’s advice to his younger self: "Value substance over status.” One of the resolutions I came up with a number of years ago was to always value substance over status, substance over prestige. And if I was giving my younger self advice on what to do or how to think about one's life, I probably would still go to Stanford, might still go to law school. But I'd ask a lot more questions: why I was doing these things? Too much of it was driven by prestige and status, and not quite enough about really the substance of trying to learn things. I sort of think of it as this sort of crazy rolling quarter life crisis, and a sort of culmination in this big New York law firm where from the outside everybody wanted to get in, from the inside everybody wanted to get out. I lasted seven months and three days. And when I left, one of the people down the hall said, it's so reassuring to see you leave, Peter. I had no idea it was possible to escape from Alcatraz. And all you had to do was go through the front door. But people's identities get so wrapped up in the things they compete for that it was inconceivable for people to actually do that. And then the question was, how had I ended up there? Why had I not thought about that more? And I think it was that I had taken too many of these shortcuts of valuing what was prestigious, what was conventional, over what I really wanted to do. So I think always substance over status.

I can go through the years, but between 2022 to 2024, we pretty much just made sure that everything was strat-based and we just charged people and hoped that we had better mechanics. Then around 2025, I think we took a look at the year and with how good Yoru was, we just tried to leverage the fact that Yoru could be everywhere on the map and we tried to make sure that we understood the game on a micro level a lot better. Maybe for all you know, it came back to bite us in the ass today. What we needed to do was win the fight and then [inaudible], and we used to be very good at that. KIDS: When you lose the puck, how hard are you willing to work to get it back? As a coach, I want you to make plays. I want you to be creative. I want you to play with no fear of making mistakes. The only stipulation I have is that when you try to make a play and you turn it over, you have to work like hell to get it back. Here's a great example from a team that MAKES A LOT OF PLAYS. Tampa turns it over in the Ozone and then watch the effort from the players to get it back. Hounds. They create another turnover and then get rewarded in transition. Coaches, amazing clip to show your teams!!
