"X is a shit show" "X is for Nazis" "X is all about Elon Musk" "X is too noisy" "X's algorithm sucks" How many of you have heard stuff like that? I do, especially when I go to other social media sites, like Threads, which just passed X in total users. I find attitudes like that uninformed, but what stopped an uninformed person from writing something on the Internet? Nothing. But since I jumped over to Threads today and got another eye full of that kind of stuff. So I mostly wanted to say thank you to the community of tens of thousands of people in tech that I follow, and show you what my screens look like today. If you turn on audio on the video here, you'll hear me talk through each of my lists. I use X Pro and lists. And by using them I find even my For You feed gets better. Much better, in fact. Why? Because if you engage on the REAL X, which you can only see on X Pro with lists, the algorithm figures out the kinds of things that catch your eye and looks for more. Also, by following lists you give the algorithm VERY IMPORTANT signal and a lot more things to choose from. Even if you just follow my feeds and never use them, your For You feed will get better BECAUSE you gave the algorithm more signal about what you want to see. If I see a brilliant person, or a new company, I put them on my lists. If I see someone go political all the time I remove them from my lists, or, maybe put them on my news lists if they are posting an interesting point of view that I would want to watch over time. These are the most complete lists in tech industry here on X, by far. I read through a LOT of lists: https:// ts And here is how I have my lists laid out in X Pro. If you are in the AI industry and you aren't following all my AI lists you are hurting yourself and ignoring many thousands of hours of work I've put into them over 18 years of being here on this service. I can only do this on X. The companies, for instance, aren't on the other services, and the AI research and development community here is stronger and more educational than they are on other services. And, because of Grok integration here, X is a far better learning platform. If I see a scientist sharing something I don't understand I click the Grok button and it teaches me a lot more. Thank you. And, yes, there are many other "X's" that I don't see. Sports, being one. I focus only on tech and educated people and my lists show that X is the best place for science, technology, and nerdy news. One last thing: the algorithm will, in about a month, radically change to be totally AI driven. When that happens X will radically change and lists will become even more important as a source of signal. If you want a better X, here's the key. Love!

⚠️Read this so you don't get scammed by a "New Holder"⚠️ On average, scammers spend ~43 days becoming your friend and building trust before attempting their first social-engineering scam. There are scammers impersonating BAYC, Pudgy, etc. as "new community members", but their whole goal is to drain your wallet. How are they doing this? They make a post pretending to purchase a new BAYC or Pudgy to gain "Mutual Followers", seem more legitimate, and ask to be added to "holders only" X chats. OR They purchase cheaper assets, like MAYC or Lil Pudgy, to seem even more legitimate because they can afford the investment to scam. How do I identify the scammers? - Their account is mostly RTs, plus a few posts, with the most recent being about them "joining the community". - The only posts they make are attempts to get recognition from the community they are targeting, such as "Follow for Follow". - Sadly, mutual followers are no longer a good way to judge credibility, but having no mutuals is still a big red flag. - Check the blockchain. Find the actual PFP they claim to own and see whether it was really purchased. 9/10 times it has not moved in months. This is what Welcome Apes 🍌 does an excellent job of doing to protect the community through due diligence. Scammers typically try to social engineer you in 3 ways: 1.) They DM you saying they like your Ape or Penguin and ask if you are interested in trading + ETH. Do not ever do this. There are no trading websites, and OpenSea is currently the only trusted platform. 2.) They use a group of 5 X accounts they control, put them into a group, and claim they are all minting a "Hype" project. This creates the illusion that multiple community members are excited, but it is 1 scammer with 5 fake accounts. 3.) They create a sob story to manipulate your emotions, then ask you to donate, lend money, or otherwise send them funds. All of this typically results in them rugging the scam project or draining your wallet!! What's the easiest way to check if someone is a scammer? Beyond the checks above, the easiest way is to do exactly what the video on this post shows. Go to the profile and click their join date. This shows where the profile is located and when it got verified. If the account is from pre-2020 but only recently got verified, that is a red flag. Most importantly, it shows how many times the account has changed its handle. Most scammers have more than 3 name changes in a month. Realized this post never uploaded to X earlier today, so better late than never race recap. Great day at the world-famous Bristol Motor Speedway yesterday. Being my first ever time there I knew it would be a huge uphill battle. We struggled big time in practice and qualifying, made some huge adjustments, and my favorite line of the night to my crew chief Nate, “I don’t care which way you go with adjustments just make it big.” We fired off a lot better out of the gate at the drop of the green and found ourselves moving up through the field. We got in a really good rhythm and found ourselves in a 4-5 way battle for 22nd-23rd. We were at the front end of the battle when we blew a power steering line in the middle of turn one and two. That might’ve been one of the sketchiest moments of my career, just suddenly loosing power steering in the middle of the corner at Bristol is highly not recommended. I tried to go back out and just work through it, but we were leaking too much fluid and ARCA wouldn’t let us. Ultimately we finished 29th with just a couple scratches on the car here and there. Next up, we’re back to one of my favorite tracks of all time, Salem Speedway on the 20th.
