Terrible route spacing from Goedert and Brown. DeVonta Smith is just jogging a motion to the flat because every motion the Eagles run is a complete waste of time. Just truly one of the worst-designed/coached offenses in the entire league.

The Eagles cap their opening drive with a terrible route concept on 4th and 4. They try to go to DeVonta Smith on the out route from condensed 2x2 (basically the only thing he ever runs from those looks) and when it isn't there the options on the backside are an out route to AJ Brown that already broke, and a Dig route to Dallas Goedert that is breaking into a safety that isn't conflicted by any other route. Thankfully, AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts bail it out.

The Packers show C0 pre-snap and the Eagles have no idea what to do. DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson run the same route. The OL full slides to the right but Saquon also blocks to the right. Just a disaster.

The Eagles motion Jahan Dotson across the formation and get the Rams to show both man coverage and pressure pre-snap. Both Dotson and Smith run out routes within 3 yards of each other. Both are open, but one of them is definitely in the wrong place. Given that Hurts targets Smith, I would assume Dotson ran the wrong route.

This is disgusting. The Eagles run a shallow cross concept over the middle of the field where the best option is Dallas Goedert running right into Quay Walker. Nothing else is an option because everybody else is just jogging out nothing. The protection is far too good to take a sack here and Hurts needs to find a way to get the ball out (dirt it at Goederts feet, get out of the pocket and throw it away, etc.) but this is gross.

This is just an egregiously bad call. DeVonta Smith gets jammed by a WR and is fighting to get off of that press, never even makes contact with the player trying to defend Goedert, and gets flagged for OPI.

One of the best features of the Southern Baptist Convention is that any messenger or member in good standing at a Southern Baptist Church sent on behalf of the church is qualified to make a motion impacting the entire Convention.
