Here is Jaxson Dart, earlier this season, spearing a LB in the head on the sideline. That is a cheap shot, not hitting a QB that is still in bounds. It's pretty simple: if you don't want to get hit, then go out of bounds. If you want the benefit of the doubt a step from the sideline, then don't headhunt a LB that is giving you a path out of bounds.

Terrible route spacing from Goedert and Brown. DeVonta Smith is just jogging a motion to the flat because every motion the Eagles run is a complete waste of time. Just truly one of the worst-designed/coached offenses in the entire league.

This play has to be meant to go to AJ Brown, who is instantly wide open. Hurts needs to hit this throw. Also, the rest of the design is pretty poor. Saquon doesn't even threaten the flat before going vertical. Calcaterra runs straight upfield instead of breaking inside to pull the safety away from the wheel.

This return route by AJ Brown might be one of the slowest routes I've ever seen. Something isn't right with him. And if that's true, why is he the 1st read in the progression on 3rd and 5? Nothing else is open and Jalen bails the offense out again with another scramble.

Patrick Surtain is the best CB in the NFL and AJ Brown beat him in the 1st half. But then the Broncos went to a lot more zone coverage and Brown was blanked (except for 1 more slant against man coverage). Players beat man and scheme beats zone. The Eagles have the players. They don't have the scheme. Again, I have no idea why any team would play any defensive snap that wasn't a 4-man rush with zone coverage behind until the Eagles figure out how to beat it.

Nothing else is an option because everybody else is just jogging out nothing. The protection is far too good to take a sack here and Hurts needs to find a way to get the ball out (dirt it at Goederts feet, get out of the pocket and throw it away, etc.) but this is gross.

The Eagles come out in Jumbo personnel for the first play of the game and run under center play action. All 3 LBs get sucked in by the play fake but there isn't a single route attacking the middle of the field, so the play action is basically pointless. Hurts throws with anticipation to DeVonta Smith outside the numbers but he gets no separation and can't haul it in.

The Eagles motion Jahan Dotson across the formation and get the Rams to show both man coverage and pressure pre-snap. Both Dotson and Smith run out routes within 3 yards of each other. Both are open, but one of them is definitely in the wrong place. Given that Hurts targets Smith, I would assume Dotson ran the wrong route.

For a team that talks about accountability and a player who likes to post cryptic tweets after the game about quietly withdrawing, this is a pathetic attempt at blocking by AJ Brown. That's a rookie receiver he outweighs by 36 pounds. How about showing a little pride and putting him on the ground? Or at least jog upfield and take him out of the play.
