Muslim man Abdullah Khan was in court today after pleading guilty to terrorism charges. Khan set fire to Conor McGregor's pub and stabbed a member of the gardaí. He said the attacks were a message to the government and to Conor McGregor not to insult Muhammad. He went on to explain that he's angry with the Irish government for allowing free speech which leads to his prophet being insulted. He said his anger with McGregor is because Conor "helped the far-right grow in Ireland." Khan then said he supports jihad and had previously pledged allegiance to isis. He also said he is "part of a wider group of people of a like-minded mindset." Video of both incidents below.

Another day and another usual suspect jailed for sex attacks on our people. The 13-year-old girl was subjected to a "deeply distressing" kidnap and assault attempt as she was roller-skating home. Mohammed Younas dragged her to the ground, said he had a gun and knife. He fled shortly afterwards but police arrested him three days later after matching his DNA to that found on the girl's shoe. Younas, 31, of Bearsted Drive, Pitsea, was jailed for nine years after admitting kidnap and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. He also pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, was sentenced at a hearing at Basildon Crown Court on 5 August,

Dog owner initially arrested for murder given bail after fatal dog attack charge as victim named In court the 55-year-old was seen wiping away tears as the charges were being read out to him. This is after his dog bit another man on a local footpath following an altercation. He has been given bail and was spotted leaving court. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon on the old train line footpath off Blacker Lane in Calder Grove, Wakefield. James Judge, 55, was bitten and later died in hospital. Court heard there was a verbal row over right of way. Ellis, a local farrier, appeared at Bradford Magistrates’ Court today. He was bailed to appear at Leeds Crown Court next month on condition he sleeps every night at his home address.
