Tesla Could Destroy Uber $TSLA $UBER

$LYFT is the better short option as they are heavily North America and only have a small presence in Europe , whereas $UBER is global Tesla ramps in NA first and then Europe

Clearly. Their market is gone when these cars start mass distribution. If you look at the cost price of owner/operation of the CyberTaxi, neither Uber nor WayMo it its current form, can compete. WayMo has to buy cars, paying a markup to the builder, cars having a cost at least 3x and probably 5x that of the CyberTaxi. One can see NY and CA causing problems for Tesla by creating new fees and/or requirements that apply only to them, essentially as a roadblock. But even that is probably going to leave the others in the hole. This will be interesting.

robotaxis can pressure Uber, but fleet density and regulation decide the timeline. the headline is ahead of the rollout.

Uber are lying about the number of crimes Thier drives commit. Once it's out the company is in trouble. In South Africa a cheap Uber is a real risk
