I don’t disagree. Pre-collision alert saved my bacon a couple days ago when a car braked the second I looked down. Not sure I would have stopped in time without it.

Tesla Self-Driving 14.3 threw up a camera blinded warning, and then threw up the red hands. But the camera wasn't actually blinded at all. The funny thing is, when I pressed the accelerator the car continued to follow the driving path. It was still very much able to drive, but refused to recover from the red hands on its own. Strange.

Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe says the company plans to launch hands-off driving later this year, eyes-off driving in 2027, and fully autonomous vehicles that never require human intervention in 2028. Driving in Samson is stiff. These specific missions where you're tasked to destroy other cars are a pain in the butt to finish due to the input delay while driving. Driving straight forward is no issue, but as soon as there's a turn that you need to take or come to a stop. It feels like the car takes multiple seconds to respond, whenever that is by design or not, I don't like it. At first I suspected that this could be caused by frame-gen but I had it turned off from the beginning. There's also this damage boost mode while you're driving (reminds me of Franklin's driving focus in GTA V), you deal extra damage with a car but it didn't seem like it worked properly at all and also made the car even more difficult to control.

Tesla Self Driving can literally take you from point-to-point in the middle of a snow storm. It doesn't need to see road markings. It doesn't even need to see the road at all. There is currently no other company on earth shipping a sub-$40k consumer vehicle capable of this. None. I don't think any other company on earth of any kind can replicate this drive.
