🇺🇸 Tesla's emergency braking kicked in at the last second and saved a life. No human reflex is that fast. This is why the tech matters.

Amazing FSD maneuver, wow! I’m at a red light in the middle of 5 lanes of traffic. My Cybertruck sees an ambulance approaching from the rear… but the intersection is mostly blocked. So, it turns right across 3 lanes into a safe pocket, leaving a clear lane for the emergency vehicle to proceed without pause. After confirming it is safe, my truck then merges & continues onto the new road, automatically updating my nav to reflect the unplanned turn. Has anyone seen FSD do something like this before… this wasn’t just a pull over while driving. It was a full ‘let’s make a gap for that emergency and keep them on their way’ purposeful action from a full stop. Tesla Yun-Ta Tsai Ashok Elluswamy Elon Musk

Requesting to please prioritize improvements in this scenario Tesla AI Yun-Ta Tsai. This is a safety issue. At this intersection it happens every time. FSD waits until the absolute last second to merge away from the ending lane leaving almost zero room to safely merge when there was visibly more room to start merging sooner. See side repeater view.

Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. The vehicle suddenly slams on the brakes, detecting a nonexistent “ghost” obstacle in the road. (See video) This issue first appeared with FSD v14.1 and hasn’t been resolved yet. 📍 GPS location: 28.240491, -81.606942 My nearby friend with a 2025 Cybertruck experiences the exact same problem at the same location. Notably, it happens in both FSD mode and regular manual driving—but only started after the v14.1 update. I’d really appreciate reposts to help bring this to the attention of Tesla AI, Ashok Elluswamy, or Elon Musk so the team can prioritize a fix! 🚀

I was on the tail end of a 500 mile drive back from Omaha yesterday with my 77 year old dad and we nearly had a very serious accident, possibly deadly for the other driver. Look at this older Toyota Corolla blow this light at 60mph more than 3 seconds after it turns red. If it was me driving, because I could not see the Corolla as it was occluded by the stopped cars, we would have had a head on collision or I'm mid-turn and he would have impacted my dad's side of my Cybertruck. Thankfully Tesla FSD was doing the driving and it has superhuman reaction to brake pedal application time (aka PRT = perception response time) of about 0.25s while very good human is 0.8-0.9s or average human is 1.5-2.5s. This is life saving technology and it may have saved one yesterday. Thanks to Ashok Elluswamy, Elon Musk, and the whole team behind this.

🇺🇸 A Cybertruck on FSD swerved to avoid a car nobody could see coming The owner in Hermosa Beach on what happened: "If I'd been driving, that collision was unavoidable." A white car shot out of a driveway and the system REACTED before the driver ever registered it Second time in two months FSD saved him Stories like this show up CONSTANTLY now, and they follow the same pattern The car reacts to something outside human sightlines, the driver only understands it afterward Every one of those is a wreck that quietly did not occur🙏 Writer: Daniel

I never thought I’d be posting one of these Tesla clips; however, Tesla Self Driving, saved me and my daughter’s life tonight. We are in Michigan right now for her horseback riding competition, it is so foggy tonight, and driving back to our hotel a car that could not see in the fog was driving in our lane heading towards us. I was paying attention, and the oncoming car did not look like it was in our lane; however, the Tesla could see better than I could, and knew it was in our lane, and it took quick action to move us out of harm’s way. 🚨 EU Commission just announced new mandatory safety features for all new cars & vans in Europe starting July 7, 2026: ✅ Advanced Emergency Braking detecting pedestrians & cyclists ✅ Advanced Driver Distraction Warning system ✅ Better forward vision ✅ New tests for worn tyres ✅ Expanded safety glass for pedestrian protection Tesla already leads in these areas with our vision-based Autopilot hardware, cabin camera monitoring, and top Euro NCAP safety scores. Apart from the ongoing FSD approval delays, this is mildly good news for Tesla. We’re already compliant and the industry is catching up to our safety standards. 🚀⚡ #Tesla #EVSafety #Europe

Shared by Rohan Juneja Happened to me in the Dwarka Expressway tunnel could’ve easily turned into a fatal crash. I was in the fast lane when an Ertiga from the opposite side suddenly took a U-turn at an emergency gap where it’s clearly not allowed. He didn’t slow down, didn’t check traffic, just kept moving while turning and almost rammed into me. This kind of reckless behavior is dangerous enough, but the lack of proper barricading makes it worse. Strict action is needed. Sharing this so people stay alert this tunnel is a daily route for many. #driveresponsibly

🚨🇺🇸 ANTI-ICE PROTEST TAKES OVER FOLEY SQUARE IN MINNESOTA TONIGHT Anti ICE protest happening now in Foley Square after Minneapolis shooting that claimed the life of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. Lower Manhattan's civic plaza, steps from federal courthouses, filled fast with hundreds rallying in solidarity, signs high, chants sharp against immigration enforcement tactics. The emergency action kicked off around 6 p.m., organized swiftly on social media after news broke of the fatal south Minneapolis stop. NYPD lined up heavy but kept distance as the crowd grew from dozens to a solid mass in the chilly evening, voices echoing off government stone. No arrests or clashes reported yet, just raw energy channeling cross-country outrage over the disputed shooting. Similar vigils and marches popped up elsewhere, but Foley Square's proximity to ICE offices made it ground zero for New York's response. Source: Reuters Marla Diamond Citizen

Cybertruck’s quick steer-by-wire & four-wheel steering system saves driver from a potentially bad collision. “On a two lane highway listening to the evening news when all of a sudden I see a car, glass, and parts flying at me. I cranked the steering wheel hard and fast to almost full lock. I missed the oncoming car by MILLEMETERS! This is a testament to how well the 4 wheel steering works and especially the drive by wire steering. Had I been in my Ram I would have either hit the car to my right at the stop sign, over steered and had to counter steer and would have either spun out, ditched it, or worse rolled it. "Our college budget is more than your country's budget. " this is one of the worse statement from KIIT institution teachers. Where is the education gone ? This is not about India/Nepal or any other country, this shows how low education system we have , sad. You can’t give such statements to any country when it comes to education. 17th February, 2025: Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal, a third year student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), was found dead on Sunday evening in the hostel campus of the university. The incident has sparked widespread protests near the KIIT campus. Students, including many from Nepal gathered on sunday night demand a transparent investigation. In response, two platoons of police forces were deployed to maintain order. Amid rising tensions, KIIT University issued a notice and forced over 500 Nepali students to leave the university. Nepali students were seeking an investigation since Prakriti complained about the harassement and torture in the university. Despite her constant appeal, University didnot take any action which led to the incident. #JusticeForPrakriti

This is why Tesla makes the safest vehicles in the world: • All Tesla models have received five-star safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. • Built from the ground up with an all-electric architecture, resulting in low rollover risk and reduced occupant injury probability. • Uses anonymous/aggregated real-world data from millions of miles driven to enhance safety via over-the-air updates and inform future vehicle designs. • Battery packs designed to isolate and vent heat away from the cabin; historically (2012–2020 U.S. data), Tesla vehicles ~10x less likely to experience fire per mile than average gas vehicles. • Before a crash occurs, Tesla uses the front cameras to observe the scenario and prepare the seat belt system to react faster and with adequate force and timing when impact occurs, reducing the amount of slack in each seat belt. • Tesla’s advanced airbags are tuned to deploy according to crash type and different-sized occupants. This includes active venting that changes the amount of pressure within the inflated cushion by releasing gas according to the expected crash severity. • When a serious collision is detected, the hazard lights will turn on to increase your visibility and doors will automatically unlock for emergency access. At the same time, your Tesla will automatically contact emergency services to get help to you as quickly as possible. • Tesla vehicle structures are designed to cushion and protect the battery in the event of an accident. Onboard systems will automatically disconnect the high-voltage battery upon impact. If a battery fire does occur, the battery pack is designed to spread heat away from the cabin to protect occupants.

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham announced that the club has suspended Lionel Messi pending a full investigation into serious allegations of doping and the use of banned performance-enhancing substances. Beckham revealed that routine anti-doping tests, combined with internal reports from medical staff, raised red flags regarding irregular biological markers and unauthorized substances found in Messi’s system. According to the preliminary findings, the club’s medical team flagged multiple inconsistencies over recent weeks that could not be explained by legitimate treatment protocols. “These allegations are deeply troubling and completely unacceptable,” Beckham stated. “Inter Miami stands firmly against any form of doping or performance enhancement that violates the integrity of the game. The moment these concerns were brought to our attention, we took immediate action. Lionel has been suspended from all team activities while an independent investigation is carried out in full cooperation with MLS and WADA. No one is above the standards we set for this club not even our biggest star.”

#FestiveSeason Hi Zimbabwe Republic Police Ministry of Transport - Zimbabwe This is UK police conducting random breathalyser tests on drivers pulling into a service station. The message is simple, drink driving will not be tolerated. ZRP must do the same. Randomly breathalyse drivers at filling stations, shopping centres and public spaces. Clamp down on motorists drinking alcohol in public, urinating behind trees, littering, spitting and disturbing the peace , in Marlborough, Mabelreign, Eastlea and everywhere else. No selective enforcement. Bottle stores are for off-sales, not bars. Regularly stop and breathalyse kombi and long-distance bus and haulage truck drivers. These vehicles carry lives. All officers must wear body cameras. Any officer caught taking bribes to clear drunk drivers must be dismissed. Penalties for drink driving must hurt, US$1,000 fine, 3 months jail, 2-year driving ban. Introduce a UK-style points system. In the UK, 12 points = automatic ban. Drink driving leads to immediate disqualification. Repeat offenders are removed from the road, permanently if necessary. This festive season, reduce road deaths through visible, ruthless enforcement. Action saves lives. Excuses don’t.

On May 12, 2022, Deborah Samuel Yakubu, a 22-year-old second-year Christian student at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Nigeria, was brutally stoned to death and set ablaze by a mob of Muslim students. Her "crime"? An alleged blasphemous WhatsApp message against Islam. Fast-forward to 2023. The two main suspects, charged only with "criminal conspiracy and incitement of public disturbance", bailable offenses carrying a max of 2 years were acquitted. Why? Prosecution lawyers simply didn't show up in court. Meanwhile, a powerhouse team of 34 lawyers, led by Prof. Mansur Ibrahim, swooped in to defend them from day one. Two years later, justice for Deborah remains a ghost. This is not isolated blasphemy mobs thrive under Nigeria's dual legal system. Sharia law in the north clashes violently with secular codes, breeding impunity and division. If Nigeria truly believes in "One Nigeria," the government must abolish Sharia law NOW. Two separate laws cannot coexist in peace. They fuel hatred and murder. Bola Ahmed Tinubu what legacy will you leave behind? Take action and reset Nigeria, Mr President you got nothing to lose in this life anymore.
