Tesla's financials are imploding while Elon Musk repeats the same broken promises he made years ago about FSD. Tesla axed the Model S and X for a teleoperated robot that can't walk and that Musk admits does nothing useful. Why believe a word this snake oil salesman says?

You nailed it. The financials are terrible. The outlook is worse. Elon is literally cancelling 2 models out of 4. Shutting down factories and entire lines. This is panic cost cutting. Survival mode. I think Tesla is in far worse shape than the financials show. No company would do this if they were successful. This is distress type behaviour. And the whole whisper campaign to merge Tesla and SpaceX and or xAI is also a move that smells of desperation. The only reason this is being contemplated is to prop up the value of Tesla shares with outside assets so that the share price doesn’t crash. As well, it reeks of self-dealing because in this share dilution, Elon will be the biggest beneficiary. But existing shareholders will be the biggest losers. And then what? The business will be hugely negative on cash flow because xAI is a money pit. SpaceX is barely break even. And Tesla appears to be a dying business. I mean what’s left of Tesla now? A cheap low margin Model 3 and a cheap low margin Model X. Competition is now stiff. There is no moat. Other manufacturers are making better cars. With better technology. And better pricing. And better value for money. All of the investments made with shareholder capital in the car manufacturing will have to be written off. Look out next quarter those write offs will be huge. Share price will crater. The Ponzi scheme is over. They will be teaching about this failure in business school. If we can see it, the bankers surely can see it. The huge funds and hedge funds can surely see it. And they will start to liquidate their positions quietly before the next quarter earnings call. And robots? Sure Elon. With no visible manufacturing plan. With billions required in retooling costs. Banks shying away from lending to Tesla at all. No sane banker will approve a loan to Tesla. And with a spiralling stock price the shares that Elon pledged to finance his Twitter purchase will be margin called and sold off by the bankers leading to even lower share prices for existing stock holders. To all Tesla shareholders - get out while you can. Elon can’t deliver. And he isn’t equipped to handle such a crisis. The music has stopped and there are no chairs left.

@elonmusk Have owned same block of $TSLA stock since 2013 at $6.50 a share. I’ve listened to guys like you the entire time. I’ve been through six or so 50% corrections only to end up back at the highs. The things his companies are developing are transformational, and take time.

@elonmusk He’s going to merge Tesla with xAI and SpaceX because he can convince investors that his focus will shift to AI, robotics and government contracts for SpaceX. That way he can slowly move away from Tesla cars being his primary business. He could also just do a SpaceX IPO for $1.5T
