At the time, Tesla, $TSLA, was worth just $59 billion and Elon Musk made his compensation entirely performance based. Here's the best part: "If somehow magically he gets the company to $650 billion, he would collect $55 billion in compensation." Less than 3 years later, Tesla hit a market cap of $650 billion. Elon Musk bet on himself and he delivered. Why is that being taken away from him?

He predicts that they will ultimately sell for around $20,000 at a cost of $10,000, and Tesla will take at least a 10% market share of the humanoid robot market. Elon Musk calls Optimus the "most sophisitcated humanoid robot on earth". The Dawn Project attended Tesla's recent demonstration of Optimus serving popcorn. Tesla's event was totally staged and, after being asked directly, Tesla employees admitted Optimus was being teleoperated. The Tesla employees couldn't even tell us how many Optimus robots Tesla has, despite Elon claiming that there would be 10,000 by the end of this year. Tesla is going to need to employ a lot of teleoperators!
