The Cybercab is aiming to produce 2 million units per year. Let this sink in. Today, Tesla produces about ~1.7 million vehicles per year total, across its entire lineup. And now Tesla is preparing to outproduce that with one single vehicle, a fully autonomous one. This is Elon and Tesla going ALL-IN on autonomy. Production is scheduled to start April 2026 at Giga Texas, with volume ramping throughout the year. And as of early 2026, Cybercab prototypes are already being tested around the U.S. The Tesla Cybercab is built from the ground up for unsupervised autonomy. There is no steering wheel and no pedals, just cameras, AI, and Tesla’s custom inference computers. No lidar and radar like other companies, just pure vision and software. Elon put it best on the Q3 2024 earnings call: “It’s not just a revolutionary vehicle design, but a revolution in vehicle manufacturing that is also coming with the Cybercab.” That quote matters a lot bc that means the entire way a vehicle is manufactured is changing with the Cybercab. Tesla is designing what Elon calls “the machine that builds the machine.” The Cybercab uses Tesla’s unboxed manufacturing process, where major sections are built in parallel instead of one long assembly line. There are fewer parts, less steps & cost, and faster scale. That’s how you make 2 million Cybercabs per year possible. FYI, this is not going to be easy though. Elon has been brutally honest about production for many years: • “Prototypes are easy, production is hard.” • “The extreme difficulty of scaling production of new technology is poorly understood. It’s 1000% to 10,000% harder than making a few prototypes.” • “For cars, it’s maybe 100 times harder to design the manufacturing system than the car itself.” He reinforced this again in January 2026 when talking about Cybercab and Optimus on 𝕏: “Initial production is always very slow and follows an S-curve. The speed of the production ramp is inversely proportional to how many new parts and steps there are. For Cybercab and Optimus, almost everything is new, so the early production rate will be agonizingly slow - but eventually end up being insanely fast.” This is the key thing most people miss about Tesla manufacturing. Early output will be slow by design. Almost everything is new like the vehicle architecture, factory layout, AI hardware, and manufacturing flow. But once it works and clicks, it begins to scale hard. Tesla already proved they can do this. They survived Model 3 production hell. They turned Model Y into the BEST selling car in the world, of any kind. They ramped Cybertruck, which has over 30,000+ unique parts, to meaningful volume. Elon summed it up perfectly in 2024: “Compared to the insane pain of reaching high volume, positive margin production, prototypes are a piece of cake.” That’s why Tesla makes manufacturing look easy bc they already earned the scars from the last vehicle lineups. The Cybercab is aiming to be: 1/ Under $30,000 price 2/ ~$0.20 per mile operating cost 3/ 200+ mile range 4/ Up to 5x utilization vs personal cars 5/ Designed to run nearly nonstop 24/7 This is what you call manufacturing + AI + autonomy converging at scale. The competitors are still showing prototypes and demos, while Tesla is building new production lines, expanding factories, and actually building the product. I remember when Elon told me in the past that one of Tesla’s key advantage long term was going to be manufacturing technology. I get it now.

When Elon Musk and Tesla let me, and millions of other owners, add our own cars to the Tesla Robotaxi network via a software update, it’s going to be the greatest wealth CREATION in human history. I get it. For the first time ever, a Tesla will become an $ income producing asset bc your Tesla will be able to drive itself while you’re sleeping, working, or even on vacation. This is NOT a sci-fi idea anymore. Elon has been clear for years. The hardware is already in the cars and the thing that will unlock this is going to be software. Here’s a simple version of how it’s going to work imo: 1/ A software update turns your Tesla into a robotaxi 2/ You opt in with one tap in the Tesla app 3/ Your car gives rides when you’re not using it 4/ Tesla takes a cut, you keep the rest 5/ You can pull your car out anytime, you have full control Think Airbnb, but for cars. Now on the $ generation side, this is where it can get a bit wild. Elon has said a high use robotaxi could generate ~$30,000 per year per car, and even more in busy cities. That means, 1/ A car payment pays for itself 2/ A car can become your own business 3/ And for some people, this can allow them to become financially free Elon even said robotaxi earnings should far exceed monthly car payments... this will completely flip how we think about owning a vehicle. A lot of long time Tesla investors call this the “greatest wealth transfer in history”… Elon corrected that and said something important: “Not transfer of wealth, CREATION of wealth. The pie gets much bigger.” And I believe he’s right. Autonomy makes transportation cheaper, safer, and available 24/7. This saves time, reduces accidents, lowers costs for everyone, and unlocks $ trillions of dollars in new economic value that NEVER existed before. Elon has also said: “The day FSD (w/ this Robotaxi feature) goes to wide release will be one of the biggest asset value increases in history.” That will be the day when cars are viewed as an appreciating asset instead of a depreciating asset! The scale is hard to wrap my head around tbh bc: • There are already millions of Teslas on the road • Even a small % opt-in rate creates massive fleets overnight, Waymo is screwed imo with their peanut sized 2,500 fleet • No new factories are needed • No new drivers needed Just pure AI software. Bro… this moment is going to be REALLY big. This could be the first time in human history where regular people like you and me get access to automation and making $ at scale, instead of only the big players and corporations. And when this switch flips, the way we view a car, specifically a Tesla will never look the same again. (FYI, once Elon and Tesla give me the green light, I plan on buying ~25 Teslas outright and put them into the Robotaxi network to show the world exactly what I mean)

Whenever I tell people when you buy a Tesla, make sure you eat the cost and buy FSD outright, a majority of people always tell me “FSD is too expensive at $8,000,” without actually looking at the data and numbers behind the true value of FSD. Well, I did. Back in 2019, Elon explained the Robotaxi economics very clearly. “What would be the probable gross profit from a single Robotaxi? We think probably something on the order of $30,000 per year.” BTW, this number also came from conservative assumptions. • ~90,000 miles per year • ~50% utilization (half the miles are non-revenue) • Operating cost around $0.18 per mile (fyi, gas cars are closer to $0.60!) • Tesla takes 25-30% of the revenue • Robotaxi designed to last ~1 million miles So after costs, after Tesla’s cut, and after conservative usage, the estimate still came out to $30,000 per year from a single Robotaxi. So let me do the simple math for you. If a Robotaxi generates $30,000 per year, and you assume just 10 years of useful Robotaxi life, even though the car is going to be designed for more: 1/ $30,000 × 10 years = $300,000 Now, let’s cut that number by 50% for uncertainty, downtime, or slower rollout… I’m being conservative here. 2/ $300,000 ÷ 2 = $150,000 That means the FSD value is NOT $8,000. It’s six figures! This is why every Tesla owner should buy FSD outright right now! And is also the reason why Tesla is ending this option in February imo. You see, this is what happens when you see FSD as an income generating business, instead of just a feature. FSD is SIGNIFICANTLY undervalued. And whenever I tell people that I’m going to be the biggest Tesla Robotaxi fleet operator one day and show the world how much $ I’m making for each Robotaxi in operation, they all still laugh at me in disbelief. (I hope Elon and Tesla will let me be one of the first owners when the time comes… 🤞) But I also know that people always doubted me my whole life… until things actually became real. That’s why I’ve never seen my Tesla as just a car that depreciates like other non-Teslas. It’s the exact opposite. And one day, when these cars are driving themselves and generating $ income for me while I’m sleeping, all of the doubters will become silent. Mark my words.

A new 30-minute presentation from Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s VP of AI, has been released, where he talks about FSD, AI and the team’s latest progress. Highlight from the presentation: • Tesla's vehicle fleet can provide 500 years of driving data every single day. Curse of Dimensionality: • 8 cameras at high frame rate = billions of tokens per 30 seconds of driving context. • Tesla must compress and extract the right correlations between sensory input and control actions. Data Advantage: • Tesla has access to a “Niagara Falls of data” — hundreds of years’ worth of collective fleet driving. • Uses smart data triggers to capture rare corner cases (e.g., complex intersections, unpredictable behavior). Quality and Efficiency: • Extracts only the essential data needed to train models efficiently. Debugging and Interpretability: • Even though the system is end-to-end, Tesla can still prompt the model to output interpretable data: 3D occupancy, road boundaries, objects, signs, traffic lights, etc. • Natural language querying: ask the model why it made a certain decision. • These auxiliary predictions don’t drive the car but help engineers debug and ensure safety. Tesla’s Advanced Gaussian Splatting (3D Scene Modeling): • Tesla developed a custom, ultra-fast Gaussian splatting system to reconstruct 3D scenes from limited camera views. • Produces crisp, accurate 3D renderings even from few camera angles — far better than standard NeRF/splatting approaches. • Enables rapid visual debugging of the driving environment in 3D. Evaluation & World Models: • Evaluation is the hardest challenge: models may perform well offline but fail in real-world conditions. • Tesla builds balanced, diverse evaluation datasets focusing on edge cases — not just easy highway driving. Introduced a learned world simulator (neural network-generated video engine): • Can simulate 8 Tesla camera feeds simultaneously — fully synthetic. • Used for testing, training, and reinforcement learning. • Allows adversarial event injection (e.g., adding a pedestrian or vehicle cutting in). • Enables replaying past failures to verify new model improvements. • Can run in near real-time, letting testers “drive” inside a simulated world. The Cybertruck is, without a doubt, the ultimate road trip vehicle. Every time I pack it, it reminds me how much storage this thing actually has. Between the frunk, the massive bed, the under-bed storage, the gear locker, and the cabin, I can bring literally everything my fam needs. Honestly, we could live out of this truck for months at a time if we wanted to. Bro… this is true freedom. I have Starlink hooked up, so no matter where I am, I can work, upload videos, stay connected, and share my thoughts and journey in real time with millions of people around the world. That’s exactly what we’re doing today as we head to Yellowstone. FYI, I even uploaded this entire post 100% via Starlink as my Cybertruck is driving us on FSD right now. Then there are all the little things that make long trips so much easier. I don’t have to think about oil changes, engine maintenance, transmission issues, or stopping at smelly gas stations. The stainless steel exterior also means I don’t stress over chips, scratches, or keeping the paint perfect. The huge panoramic windshield makes every drive feel like you’re sitting in the front row of nature. The air suspension smooths out rough roads, there’s plenty of power for mountain driving, and FSD completely takes the stress out of long highway miles so I can actually enjoy the scenery and the time with my family. For me, the Cybertruck is our family adventure vehicle. It carries everything we need, keeps us connected from essentially anywhere, and turns trip into something we actually look forward to instead of something we just have to get through. This truck is hands down the best Tesla ever created and I don’t say this lightly.

Ken Griffin, Founder and CEO of Citadel, on why a $2.50 Coke at McDonald's tells you everything about the U.S. economy: For Griffin, the price of a single fast-food drink captures the story of the past six years. "$2.50 for a Coke. And before the Biden administration, it was $0.99." That jump is a window into something much bigger: "The United States has endured prolonged and persistent inflation now for 6 years." Griffin explains that these everyday price shocks carry a psychological weight far heavier than the numbers themselves: "The rise of gasoline prices at the gas station, it's like a triggering event. It just brings back to all of us the fact that the purchasing power of the dollar has declined so precipitously for 6 years now." The Coke is just one example. Eggs are another. Griffin points to New York City prices in the range of "7, 8, 9 dollars for a dozen eggs", and notes that even though they've come down somewhat, they remain painfully elevated. Each of these small, daily encounters with higher prices adds up to something larger. A creeping anxiety about the future: "I think everybody in our country, when we see a price shock in any of our day-to-day commodities, gasoline for example, it's just deeply triggering. And I think that there's just a general apprehension of how much more purchasing power are we going to lose because of the economic policies that we're pursuing in Washington." His message to policymakers is direct: "It's very important that this administration and that the legislature continues to stay focused on how do we strengthen the purchasing power of the dollar? How do we make sure that Americans' paychecks go further?" The takeaway: a $2.50 Coke isn't really about a Coke. It's about what the dollar in your pocket can no longer buy at the drive-thru, the gas pump, and the grocery aisle. Until purchasing power is restored, that frustration will keep growing into something much harder to ignore.

I just sat down with Gordon Johnson and we did something that apparently nobody on Wall Street wants to do anymore: We valued Tesla like an actual BUSINESS. Not a narrative or a promise about what might happen in 2030. We took each of Tesla's 4 business segments, assigned them the valuation of the best comparable company in each category, and added it all up. I want to see how the Tesla cult argues against what we found out... Segment one: Optimus robots. Tesla's humanoid robots are teleoperated. There are videos of them falling over at exhibitions. They can barely serve popcorn. But let's be generous. Let's give Tesla the valuation of Figure AI - a company that actually has working AI robots you can buy today. Figure AI is valued at $39 billion. On Tesla's 3.75 billion shares outstanding, that's $10 a share. Segment two: FSD and robotaxis. Waymo has completed over 127 million fully autonomous miles without a driver behind the wheel. They did 15 million paid rides in 2025 alone. They operate commercially across 6 US cities. Tesla has done effectively ZERO reported fully autonomous miles at scale. But let's give Tesla Waymo's valuation of $100 billion anyway. That's $27 a share. So far we're at $37 for the two businesses the bulls say justify the entire market cap. Segment three: The auto business. Ford sold 4.5 million cars in 2025 and grew sales. Tesla sold 1.6 million and it was the second consecutive year of declining deliveries. But let's give Tesla Ford's market cap of $51 billion. That's $13 a share. Segment four: Energy. LG Electronics did $14.5 billion in gross profit last year. Tesla's energy business did $3.8 billion. But let's give Tesla LG's market cap of $14 billion. That's $4 a share. Add it all up: $10 + $27 + $13 + $4 = $54 a share That's being GENEROUS. That's assuming Tesla is best in class in every single segment. Better robots than the company with actual working robots. As good at autonomy as the company with 127 million autonomous miles. Worth as much as a car company that sells 3x more vehicles. $54. The stock is $387. The difference is literally $1.2 TRILLION. That is what the market is currently paying for Elon Musk's promises. Promises that he literally just pushed out again on the earnings call two days ago. And when the stock price finally breaks - the lawsuits are going to cascade. Right now, the stock price is keeping those lawsuits at bay. People don't sue when they're making money. But when the stock drops to $100, $80, $60 - those same owners are going to want a lot more than their FSD money back. The positive reflexivity that carried this stock runs in reverse. Cash flow goes negative. Market share keeps declining. The SpaceX IPO pulls attention and capital away. Momentum investors move on. And then the math that Gordon and I just walked through becomes the ONLY thing left. $54 if you're generous. $25 if you're not.

REDEFINING LABOR ON EARTH The core mission of Optimus is to take over dangerous, repetitive, and monotonous work, making advanced automation accessible to everyone and fundamentally changing what human labor looks like. As a first step, Tesla plans to deploy 1,000 Optimus robots inside the cleanrooms of its new Terafab chip facility by 2027, with the goal of cutting human manufacturing errors by 90%. PRODUCTION TIMELINES & PRICING Musk has outlined a clear ramp: limited production is targeted for 2025, starting with more than 1,000 units for internal use across Tesla factories. External sales to other companies could begin in 2026. By 2027, Tesla aims to start high-volume production at Gigafactory Texas with a target of 10 million robots per year. Ultimately, Musk wants to bring the consumer price down to roughly $20,000–$30,000. "GEN 3" DEXTERITY UPGRADES The robot's hardware is advancing quickly. Tesla recently introduced the Gen 3 hands, which feature 22 degrees of freedom and 50 total actuators — roughly doubling the dexterity of earlier versions. These new hands include tactile fingertip sensors with force-torque feedback, enabling Optimus to handle delicate items such as eggs or glass vials without damaging them. THE "DIGITAL OPTIMUS" BRAIN To give the robot both physical skill and real intelligence, Tesla and xAI are developing an architecture called "Digital Optimus" (sometimes referred to internally as Macrohard). LUNAR COLONIZATION AND SPACE OPERATIONS While earlier plans called for sending Optimus robots to Mars in 2026, SpaceX has shifted initial focus toward establishing a Moon colony first. Under Musk's "Kardashev Blueprint," large fleets of Optimus robots — referred to as "Optimi" — will be deployed to the lunar surface.
