Clean work Ian🔥 What if you lock the room in 3D space for 6DoF + Gyroscope to get perfect physical tracking while walking around? Sounds wild, but Sol 5.6 and Fable 5 have proven that nothing is impossible right now 🚀

@Scobleizer That’s the image target bleed the augmented reality is tracking via @the8thwall you can see some of the examples here

Ian can you ask 5.6 to dump a brief MD of how it built this, libraries used etc? Just to give me a head start?

Yes, once I get back to my desk. But check out @the8thwall for webAR image tracking, @sparkjsdev for solar rendering and then @theworldlabs for generation

Love it, I was worried about 8th wall going away when they wound down but seems like it’s even better now

Hah yes! Tracking is really nice and you can connect super easy with other tools now like sparkjs

Now I just need to control the temptation of redesigning the entire house. 😃

gaussian splats are wild for interiors, how long did the generation take on the living room setup

is this fake? i feel like i sometimes see the edges of a blue screen on your phone as though you're doing a kind of blue/green screen dub instead of the real thing

All running real time via quest3 it’s just using my phone as an image target. You can test out the projects here

This is a render/fake. The image shows as if it is displaying what is behind it but when the camera is turned it acts as if it is reflecting. You can see it point towards the interior but displays the window.

the splat-to-webAR path is the fun part here. how's it holding up framerate-wise on mobile? in-browser splats usually start choking once you're past a few hundred k, curious if 8thwall is doing any culling for you

Using @sparkjsdev with LoD! Helps with really good frame rate 👍
