Here is a fun idea to try. You can create these images with giant people/animals using Nano Banana Pro. Just adjust the elements in brackets and have fun! If you have the option to generate at 4K, definitely use it as it makes the tiny people look crisper. These types of images seem to animate best with Veo 3.1 from testing, but you can try with Kling 2.6 or Grok Imagine as well so have some fun! Okay, this one is the Grok Imagine version. But here’s something you need to note: I uploaded the character sheet I made with Nano Banana Pro as the base image. So it feels like this fake “Omni reference” kind of style, but it works 😄 Somehow, it’s much more consistent than uploading a still image of your scene with your character, because there’s a chance your character will morph a bit. By using your character sheet as the base model, it helps maintain consistency. The only problem is that when you do the img2vid prompt, you need to retell the setting, the action, the vibe and so on. But for me, I kind of like that approach, LOL 😆 Like I said, I’m getting lazy about animating images one by one. With this approach, I can just focus on dividing the shots, like shot 1: blabla, shot 2: bliblibli, shot 3: blublu, etc. Now for the comparison: In comparison with the Kling 3.0 Omni version, I feel that Grok Imagine is much more dynamic. But in terms of the character performance, it feels a bit over the top. I screened this latest AI short in Paris for the Prompt Club alongside a great showcase for French AI filmmaking talent. I think we have reached a tipping point where the quality of the models is no longer an obstacle to telling the story. Sure, there are problems with detail at distance, dynamic movement, and more than one character speaking or doing complex movement at the same time but nothing a director with awareness of the models can’t overcome. Kling motion control is a massive unlock, in this short I am playing all the characters so it’s quite broad because I am not an actor, but I have seen it used with professional actors and it captures real nuanced human performance, with everything that brings. I will be employing professional actors for my films in the future. This was made predominantly with Kling 2.5, and 2.6 motion with some seedance shots on the wider 2-shots. We are there, now go make your thing!

My upcoming release of "Cinematic AI" has made me think about how bodies of work are formed. I think some are manifested and some are revealed. I think "Cinematic AI" falls into the latter category. It was not something I had a clear vision for and then created, but it was something that was revealed to me over time. I thought I saw a glimmer of it early on, but only after some time had past, could I see the body of work emerge. With a bit more context and watching great artists and how they work and think, it finally came to me that this series of 15-20 pieces that I had created could be a worthy collection to mint. AI art has been going through so many transformations from the early GAN work to Collaborative AI to now AI being widely accessible through platforms like MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, and many others. But one area that I have seen explode in recent months is cinematic AI. I distinguish this from animated AI, which has been around for a while, but cinematic AI is where the movements created by AI are getting closer to what you'd see in a movie or captured on a video camera. It still has a long way to go but it is getting more real than surreal as the technology develops. And this is where I seem to have found my groove, my home, my little corner in the artistic landscape. After Runway launched their image-to-video tool, it just blew my mind and I went down a deep rabbit hole and have created a new cinematic AI piece almost every other day for the past few months. I initially saw many of these pieces as just experiments, but with some time to reflect, I am seeing them as having the potential of being relevant pieces of artwork to mark this time in the development of AI. In some cases, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to create a similar piece again, since the tools I use are not in my control, but in the control of the AI platforms, who are constantly improving and evolving the tools. Given all of this, there is no better way to mark my place in time than on the blockchain. I truly believe that this body of work has the potential to be an important artifact of this era in AI and AI art. It is always hard to judge ones own work, but what I can do is permanently etch in time on an immutable public database saying that I created this. Only time will tell if the work has any value or is of any significance, but who created it and what was created cannot be disputed. I hope this gives you and especially collectors some perspective on the work I'll be releasing next week. I'm still very early in my artistic journey, but hopefully some of you will see promise in what I'm doing and maybe even put in a early bet on my art practice by bidding on a piece next week. The prompt has to be structured in a very specific way... character description, cinematography, camera motion, lighting, dialogue, audio, authenticity keywords. Get it wrong and the footage looks off. Get it right and everything downstream becomes easier. We’re sharing the exact Claude template we use as step one of our AI UGC workflow. Driving in Samson is stiff. These specific missions where you're tasked to destroy other cars are a pain in the butt to finish due to the input delay while driving. Driving straight forward is no issue, but as soon as there's a turn that you need to take or come to a stop. It feels like the car takes multiple seconds to respond, whenever that is by design or not, I don't like it. At first I suspected that this could be caused by frame-gen but I had it turned off from the beginning. There's also this damage boost mode while you're driving (reminds me of Franklin's driving focus in GTA V), you deal extra damage with a car but it didn't seem like it worked properly at all and also made the car even more difficult to control.

Testing Wan 3.0 Anime I hadn't had much luck with Wan 3.0 anime before but seeing the incredible work below made me want to give it another shot. I usually use a skill to turn my ideas into prompts but that approach hadn't worked too well for me with this model. This time, I just used the idea itself as the prompt. I'm happy with the result and might experiment with it some more. *Used a character reference. Prompt was: Start with the character from Image 1 performing a ritual-like dance on top of a tower. She raises her staff and sends a wave of energy into the clouds, not as a thin laser line but as something more fluid and undulating. In the clouds, a magic circle appears and expands. The surrounding clouds are pulled toward it and begin swirling around it. A portal opens at the center, and a giant spaceship emerges from it and descends to Earth.
