After weeks of beta Testflight, our new app Peek Weather, is out 🌈🌙🌞☀️ The app is completely free to use Why did we build another Weather app? Where I live in Oslo, the default Apple weather app does not give correct forecast and I have to rely on a local app to get forecast I don't feel like any weather apps outside, either they are complicated and confusing. Their UI is plain and not clear, it takes time to tell whether an a number is degree or hour or day. I want the app to look like we look at the sky. When we look outside, we see the sky, the sun, and when it's raining, we see rain. At night, we see night sky. I always wish a weather app to look just like that

Building Data Pipelines has levels to it: - level 0 Understand the basic flow: Extract → Transform → Load (ETL) or ELT This is the foundation. - Extract: Pull data from sources (APIs, DBs, files) - Transform: Clean, filter, join, or enrich the data - Load: Store into a warehouse or lake for analysis You’re not a data engineer until you’ve scheduled a job to pull CSVs off an SFTP server at 3AM! level 1 Master the tools: - Airflow for orchestration - dbt for transformations - Spark or PySpark for big data - Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift for warehouses - Kafka or Kinesis for streaming Understand when to batch vs stream. Most companies think they need real-time data. They usually don’t. level 2 Handle complexity with modular design: - DAGs should be atomic, idempotent, and parameterized - Use task dependencies and sensors wisely - Break transformations into layers (staging → clean → marts) - Design for failure recovery. 1/ 👋🏼 Quick update on what we’ve been working on: Since leaving Google in December, we built a bunch of prototypes to explore different directions but in the last 30 days we spent more time with one focused idea and went deeper to take it to a fully working state. As a PM in meetings for most of my day, I was always switching between tabs—jumping from one app to another to get insights about my customers, the business, and what the team should be prioritizing. We wanted to simplify this flow and cut down the time spent digging through different sources to make decisions. What if you could flatten all those sources and tools into one tab? What if you could just talk to your business? Connect your business data from Salesforce, Zendesk, Slack, etc. and get insights in minutes—not hours—fully cited, with transparent agent reasoning across all sources. ▶️ See exactly how the system derives its answer (ex. the Salesforce SOQL query + custom Zendesk filters) ▶️ Multi-pass agentic flow: determines which source/s to use, takes a broad query, applies heuristics to refine, unifies data across different sources, and improves with user feedback ▶️ Reports automate what you want to track (I would’ve killed for a daily Discord report on what the NotebookLM community was saying)

Fly around 2. Fly over 3. Divert 4. Fly under 5. Fly through In that order. On weather radar, color codes are used to represent different intensities of precipitation and weather conditions: Green: Light precipitation, such as drizzle or light rain.
