6’3 Guard Kashie Natt is having one of the best guard defensive seasons in college basketball history. For the season Natt is averaging 11/7/2 while shooting 49% from three. He’s also averaging 2.3 steals per game and 0.6 blocks per game in only 24 MPG. Natt is an elite athlete with an incredibly high motor and plays hard on both ends. He’s an elite POA defender who has great instincts as an off ball defender and is great at getting steals without fouling. Natt also protects the rim extremely well for his height using his athleticism and frame. On the offensive end Natt is a strong off ball player who’s elite at crashing the offensive glass, while also being an elite cutter who’s shooting 66% on cuts, and is a great spot up shooter who’s shooting 48% on catch and shoot threes. There’s not many players in college basketball at 6’3 with Natt’s mix of athleticism, frame, motor, off ball instincts, and defensive impact. Natt, Chris Manon, and Maliq Brown are the only 3 players since 2008 to have a STL% of 5, a BLK% of 2.5 and a TS% of 60.

Every snap that Austin Booker was in on in the first half... Every snap but 4 of them. He was out on the first two of the third defensive series and the last two of the last (5th) defensive series. - Long Arm is noticeable - Nice Bend and constant effort - Likes to incidentally hit the QB 🤣 - The comparisons to Maxx Crosby should be taken seriously. He looks just like a young and unrefined Crosby - That "Twitchy explosiveness is real. - He's going to get more mass and muscular too and his best years are ahead of him when he does, but this experience is HUGE. - Little gassed before they took him out of the last drive, but his motor stays constant. - Second Half was even better than the first half 😲 - Led the team with 5 Pressures and 13.5% win rate while playing 84% of snaps Solid, SOLID, outing for Austin Booker I'm buying every bit of his stock you can buy. I'm all in on him.

Standout ease of effort & body balance in all facets. Near plus bat speed well before physical ceiling. 1st step quickness and lengthy gliding strides will allow top of scale run to play true on basepaths. Could be special defender in CF. Natural reads, standout range, and rare footwork at SS w/ future AVG arm. Turns 18 just days b4 draft. This is a potential plus defender in CF for me with future A/AVG or better defense at 2B the backup plan (if arm ends up light for SS). Outside of elite athleticism - his spin recognition, ability to ctrl effort, rhythm+timing, and feel 2 waste pitches lead me to believe it’s an AVG hit tool down the line. The Lakers potential rotation now. Guards. Luka Doncic. Austin Reaves. Collin Sexton. Jaden Hardy. Cameron Carr. Forwards. Quentin Grimes. Sandro Mamukelashvili. Ziaire Williams. Adou Thiero. Jake LaRavia. Centers. Walker Kessler. Kevin Looney. Outside looking in. Bronny James probably following LeBron. Jarred Vanderbilt. And Dalton Knecht. In talks. Jonathan Kuminga forward. Looking at the rotation this team is a fantastic transition from the athletically challenged team the Lakers had last season. Also last seasons team had only two defensive specialists in Marcus Smart and Jarred Vanderbilt but the latters offense makes him unlikely to get a chance with JJ Redick. This team has rangy defenders in line with the direction the league is headed. Ziaire Williams being top 20 in the NBA in some advanced defensive stats. Grimes is the archetypical 3 and D wing with emphasis on poa duties. Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero are prospects showing tremendous promise on the defensive end. All these defenders are young and athletic. Zeroing in on Ziaire, he's a 6-foot-8 wing with a 6-foot-10 wingspan. Ideally, he fits into our power forward spot with his length and ability to deter shots at the rim as a forward. His 3-point shooting stats look bad in a vacuum but he's shown better efficiency shooting the three over the past 3 seasons. Looking at his shot mechanics below, you can see his shit release point is good, his follow-through is good as well. He can become an elite shooter especially with two of the league's best playmakers in his backcourt. Also, he can catch lobs too. Nice. Hats off to the tremendous work Rob Pelinka has done this summer rebuilding this team. Having this flexibility of wing defenders alongside an elite rim protector in Kessler honestly makes me very bullish on the Lakers. This is a 57 win team barring any major injuries. There is top 5 offense and top 10 defensive potential. Rob Pelinka has done an excellent job dealing and wheeling like a GM. I have been hard on him in the past for being too passive and not making moves on the margin. The last 14 months have been so much better from him.

But you can basically make in-case arguments for so many things and for a rocket that is trying to be the first fully reusable rocket. There's never been a fully reusable rocket. People don't understand. This is like the holy grail of rocketry. So you've got to delete the part or process step. Super important. You can't hedge your bets. That's why the grid funds, for example, do not fall down because that's a whole extra mechanism that we don't need. Also, whatever requirement or constraint you have, it must come with a name, not a department. Because you can't ask the department. You have to ask a person. And it was at one point choking the battery pack production line. And I was basically living on the battery pack production line trying to fix the line. It was choking the entire Model 3 production program. So the first mistake was I tried to fix the automation, like make the robot better. So automating was a mistake. Then accelerating was a mistake. Then optimizing was a mistake. And finally, I said, what the hell are these mats for? And I asked the battery safety team, what are these mats for? Are they for fire protection or something? They said, no, they're for noise and vibration. Then I asked an NVH, a noise, vibration, harshness team, what's it for? They said fire safety. So literally, it was like being in a Dilbert cartoon. Actually, I feel like I'm in a Dilbert cartoon quite frequently. So then finally, OK, great, let's try a car with the fiberglass mats and without. And they put a microphone to both and see if you can tell the difference. In fact, I was like, which one is which? So we just deleted them and just bypassed this $2 million robot cell. Pay attention to Saudi . They’re hosting the World Cup in 2034 and they have serious plans to do well at that World Cup. First thing for them is to invest in their league. These Saudi players in this Uruguay game, you could see their quality. They’re being coached by elite managers, they play with or against Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, Mahrez, Mane, etc. these are players that have won everything. Exposure to such training programmes, world class coaches and team mates, facilities, it’s just madness. Most of the players in their squad are from the 4 government-owned teams like Hilal, Nassr, Ahli, some from Al Qadsia too which is also a good side. These top teams are exposed to world class structures (you can’t say same for the others, but that’s why the squad is made up of most players from the top teams). One of their players, Saud, was even bold enough to leave the league and he’s just done amazingly well at RC Lens this season,after he joined on loan from Roma. This is good for them too. Steven Gerrard shared a bit about the Saudi plan on “Stick to Football” recently. He said one of the things they told him was that they wanted to develop their academies especially and they wanted him to be part of it. I’ve attached the video. There’s an u21 league that is serious now in Saudi. You can also go pro at 16 years of age in Saudi now. It was 18 before. The youngsters are also exposed to these facilities which will aid their development, because some of them are expected to make that squad in 2034. Let me end this tweet with the shortfall of this project. Due to the influx of top players, many of these young players are not getting so much playing time, and they need to. They have a decent national team now but most of them won’t be present in 2034 when they host the World Cup at home. You can understand why these top teams don’t give so much youngsters opportunities even in Europe, this is because they’re chasing the league and they have no time for trials with the kids, this has to change. I always support the youth. I think teams are entitled to 8 foreign players, the league organisers should also put something in place to ensure teams play u21 players and the likes. Kentucky will have to move on to another C in the 2027 class after Obinna Ekezie Jr reclasses to 2026, and commits to Louisville. Obinna wasn’t just Kentucky’s #1 C, he was their #1 overall player. Things were going well enough they hadn’t offered another C’ in 2027, (til recently) So what’s next? Kentucky has made prior contact with the 4 C’s we’ll talk about today, but it might be too late to get in seriously with a couple of them. First up: (#11) 5⭐️ Paul Osaruyi. (AZ) 6’9 220lb. Breakdown: Has the highest ceiling of any of the bigs. A+ Motor/Athlete. Elite rebounder, always in the right position. Extremely versatile defender. Defends the perimeter, the paint, the rim. Very high defensive IQ. His offense is still coming along. He’s got good hands, he makes tough catches in traffic under the rim, he catches plenty of lobs, and he’s an elite rim runner who can catch and put the ball on the floor in the open court. Solid handle when not being pressured, but he doesn’t have the best footwork right now,’ so he’s limited in the post with the ball in his hands. Has a decent enough jumper he can face up, even pop out and knock one down, slips really well off screens into a push shot. But once the tools are sharpened, once he gets with some elite coaching, like I said could be the highest ceiling of all them. Very versatile offensive potential. Here’s how to ACTUALLY block blue light on your iPhone, most of the apps are actually just filtering a narrow spectrum. This method puts it into pure red light mode. This hack has helped my sleep immeasurably. Step 1: Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size > Color Filters Step 2: Turn on color filter > Check “Color Tint” Step 3: Slide the “Intensity” and “Hue” bars all the way to the right (this is maximum red and filters all blue light) Step 4: Go back two screens to “accessibility” then click “Accessibility Shortcut” Step 5: Check “Color Filters” - this turns on the “triple click” function that allows for easy On/Off for this setting How to use: Follow the sun - do not turn off the red light filter until you have consumed true natural red light from the sun in the AM for at least 10-15 mins. I usually wait well into the morning and after my morning outdoor walk before I triple click back to “normal view” Once dusk hits, so too should your red light filter return. So in the winter, that’s like 6p where I live… Ideally, you are not consuming screens at least 2 hours before bed for max circadian support. But if you must, make sure you are at least using this one quick easy technique. Our modern tech lives lead to an absolute decimation of our circadian rhythms, which subsequently leads to all sorts of detrimental impacts like low T, insulin resistance, fat gain, and thyroid dysfunction, amongst many others.
