🇰🇷​ South Korea has sold 100 M101 105mm artillery systems to the Czech Republic. This became known from the latest UN Register of Conventional Arms. The transfer was carried out in 2025. 🇨🇿​ At the same time, the number of artillery systems in service with the Czech army remained the same as in 2024 – 193 units. The 41st Guards Combined Arms Army and the 90th Guards Vitebsk-Novgorod Tank Division of the Russian armed forces advanced from the area of the settlement of Novoekonomichne, while forces of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army simultaneously advanced from the area of the village of Vozdvyzhenka. For four hours, they attempted to enter settlements in the area of the village of Shakhove. The enemy attempted to deny the sky to Ukrainian forces using "Gerbera" and "Lancet" strike drones. A modern Russian "Tornado-S" MLRS, which was being used to support the assault, was also destroyed. Forces of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, together with attached units, blocked the path of the advancing mechanized columns. Mine-explosive obstacles were laid on the approaches to the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and bridges were damaged by tactical aviation. The press service of the Ukrainian Air Force has released new footage of combat aircraft and outlined the directions of its further development. The video shows new footage of aviation weapons, including U.S.-made AIM-120 and AIM-9M air-to-air missiles. It also shows GBU-62 JDAM-ER and GBU-39 SDB guided bombs being loaded onto Su-27 aircraft, as well as a French Mirage 2000-5F armed with R.550 Magic II missiles. Colonel Oleksandr Diakov, Commander of Aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force, said that part of the Soviet-designed aircraft fleet will remain in service, with new technical solutions continuing to be developed for these platforms. He also highlighted the continued integration of the F-16 and Mirage 2000, as well as the prospects of receiving JAS 39 Gripen fighter jets. The video also includes footage from a visit by the new Defense Minister, Yevhen Khmara, to aviation and air defense units.
