Yes, the Karakurt demonstrates how the concept of sea dominance can shift with even small vessels capable of projecting power over long distances. However, there is a trio that would serve as a formidable barrier to the Russian corvettes: the Skjold, Hamina, and Visby. The stealth corvettes from Finland, Sweden, and Norway would be a massive headache for the Karakurt, precisely because of their small size and stealth architecture. The Karakurt may possess Kalibr missiles with a 2,500 km range or Zircons capable of reaching nearly 1,000 km, but to locate their targets, the Karakurt relies on drones like the Altius-U, equipped with a multimode sensor suite and multiple capabilities. He also talks about the army. He’s seriously discussing maintaining an army of ONE MILLION SOLDIERS in a country with a GDP of 160 billion dollars. And then there’s the long-range missiles, which only the U.S. has... The bottom line: NATO isn’t happening and it’s impossible, sustaining a million-strong army in a poor country during peacetime is sheer madness... and those long-range missiles? An investigation by Hunterbrook Media has found that the American technology company Ubiquiti is supplying Russia with equipment used by the Russian military in its war against Ukraine, including for drone operations, circumventing sanctions. These horrific, cowardly Russian strikes targeted ordinary homes and a city park. Russia will be held accountable for all its evil deeds. But the world must remember that the most effective tactic is to prevent evil from acting in the first place. We need decisions—decisions that our partners can make, decisions from those countries that have the power to ensure we have the capability to destroy Russian military aircraft at their bases, where eliminating these terrorists and their aircraft will be most effective. In Ukraine, together with our friends around the world, we’re not just talking about long-range solutions, we’re talking about strong solutions, the kind that can bring this war to an end. ❗️🇷🇺Russia’s rhetoric about striking the Baltic states is intensifying: ➡️🇱🇻🇺🇦 Today, the Kremlin threatened Latvia with an attack, claiming that “Ukrainian special forces are in Latvia and will launch strikes against Russia from there.” 🟥 Key alarming statements from the Russian Federation: ▪️ “The Ukrainian authorities have convinced Riga to allow operations against Russia.” ▪️ “Military personnel from Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces and drone operators have already been sent to Latvia. They are deployed at Latvian military bases: Ādaži, Sēlija, Liepāja, Daugavpils, and Jēkabpils.” ▪️ “Ukraine does not plan to limit itself only to using the air corridors that the Baltic states have provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
