This woman is spot on. I’ve narrowed my circle of friends over the yrs and I love nothing more than my solitude and being left alone to enjoy my peace. I don’t mind being social and hanging with friends but that’s very rare and only on special occasions.

She is correct. Age & maturity are factors here. Most young men will not understand this because they still need others to validate their worth and existence.

Me to the T. I value my time, peace and wallet. I’ve learned to walk away from drama long ago. Doesn’t matter who you are. Been burned more than once. I’m happier , healthier and wealthier. It just took me 40 years to get there.

No. Men need friends, women do not. What you are saying applies to women.

This lady Laurin makes a lot of sense. “Mtu wa watu” is another name for an emotionally weak, insecure individual seeking validation. Don’t waste energy on meaningless relationships! I will pin 📌 that message! 😂

Why just men? The same applies to women.

Disagree. Of someone doesn’t have friends or a relationship with their family, or makes friends but cycles through them fast, it is a red flag. You’re not going to be the exception to the rule.

She is full of shit. It is a terrible quality. A man will have lots of friends if he’s a good man and we’ll have very few friends if he’s a piece of shit.

This is the biggest pile of BS I’ve ever heard, if someone has no friends maybe look into that. A small circle of friends I’d be interested in who is in that small circle. It’s a red flag and you should be cautious.

Virgo (ME) tend to prefer a few close friends because they are very selective about their company, valuing depth over breadth in relationships. Cautious and analytical, often seeking out friends who are compassionate, kind, intellectually stimulating, who share their interests.

I saw people saying on tiktok they had no friends so they could focus and become successful and I thought.. but they arent successful at having friends.. so did they just share their excitement of said success with the reflection in the mirror? Sounds lonely.

This is great, I would add that I have removed as many toxic people from my circle as possible so as to not have those people create chaos in our lives.

I see alot of people disagreeing with this. Its ok that you need validation from other people WE ALL start out as wanting approval as kids. Don't get mad look inward and find your confidence and always be growing. Remember growth happens in the quiet self reflective moments. If you need to tell someone outside of your significant other about the positive changes your making, your only at the beginning. Altruisim and true self growth dosent need an audience. If anything your doing yourself a disservice. Your not doing this thing to be a better person your doing it so you appear to be a better person. Don't be a democrat.

Inaccurate. Having no friends is a terrible quality and that man has no ideas to share to improve his life or figure out solutions to problems. Having a small circle of close friends is very important. No friends=very bad. Small circle of close friends=very good.

I don’t know that I’d call my desire for solitude a form of “self-mastery” but I do appreciate someone pointing out that there’s nothing wrong with us individuals who avoid groups greater than one person.

I couldn’t disagree more. While you can never stereotype any man by the number of his friends, I would argue that a man with many friends is truly a blessed man.
