Attacks always get better. Here's a new nginx RCE that bypasses ASLR, tested on the latest nginx 1.30 and 1.31. This still requires a non-default config, but unlike some previous bugs, it does not depend on any additional vulnerabilities or external helpers to get to RCE. We reported the bug on May 15. F5 has confirmed it, and hopefully a patch will land soon. This is getting ridiculous 😅. We have enough nginx bugs to do an entire week of MAD Bugs on it. Who could have thought nginx is starting to feel like the new Linux kernel? This is the funniest time in computer hacking. And yet the world is completely unprepared for this new reality.

People won’t remember if it was a really long sentence or something very complicated. If “I have no enemies” has become a meme and people remember it, then maybe people will understand what I’m really trying to say through the story, which is that humans are immature, but we can mature. To become mature is to become kind. This is the foundation of what I’m trying to say, but it really has to be much shorter for people to remember. But it does give me hope that people remember these short phrases as memes. Then, one day, it will click in their mind what I was trying to really say in the first place.

So you're like eating meat that's like metabolic at five minutes old versus that red fresh meat in the grocery store might be a month old. But like believe it or not, it's been sitting out for 11 days. So how could it still look so fresh? It's because it's being packed and gassed in a special process that most people never heard about, using carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen, which keeps the meat looking fresh and bright red. We left two cuts of lamb out at room temperature. One was gas packed, the other, no gas. After a few days, the untreated meat turns a dark, unappealing color. But the gas-packed meat stays red, even after being left out for eight days. The only visible sign of spoilage is the package puffing out and a bad odor when opened. WOW 🚨 Big Food found a loophole to still use toxic ingredients but not have to list them in the ingredients list This means we are buying items we think have certain things we’re watching for removed but they really aren’t Since most of us are getting better at reading the back of the box, big food has moved a lot of chemicals from the ingredient list to the processing list “Under FDA regulations, if a substance is used during the manufacturing of a food but is removed in some manner, it's classified as a processing aid. Processing aids fall under the incidental additive rule, which exempts very real and present chemicals from being disclosed on the ingredient label” This is FDA rules (21 CFR 101.100) that exempt certain substances from the ingredient list. These include processing aids and substances added during manufacturing but removed before final packaging or present at insignificant levels with no functional effect in the finished food. They fall under “incidental additives.” Here’s a simple example - Vanilla beans are crushed. - A chemical solvent (like hexane or ethanol) soaks them to pull out the flavor compounds. - The solvent is mostly removed with heat and vacuum (processing aid). - What’s left is the extract that goes into your ice cream, yogurt, or baked goods So what they’re saying is, because those chemicals should be mostly removed during the processing part, then they don’t need to be listed at all on the ingredients This is so deceptive because there are still trace amounts of those chemicals in the product

It is the law. In Europe a chemical has to be proven safe before it goes in your food. In America it stays in your food until somebody proves it dangerous. 🐮: Candy! Our Candy, everyone… there’s been a change. Candy’s fur used to be white, right? But now, from the photos my mom sent me, maybe because of the light or shadows, the fur on her back looked slightly like ‘nurungji’ (scorched rice color a bit yellowish). I wondered if maybe she hadn’t had a shower or something, but that’s not it. They say dogs’ fur can change. Not exactly yellow, but apparently when they’re young different colors can appear, so now Candy has a little ‘nurungji’ (toasty-colored) back.

In my career, KAT has been the only player that has always been on the team. It’s going to be very odd to cover a Wolves team that he’s not a part of. We’ll dive into the trade plenty — still wrapping my head around it. But for now, want to say I’m grateful for the respect he always treated me with — not a given in this industry, especially as independent media. Karl and I became some version of friends over the years. And for me, that will always be something that will stick with me as the years go on. ✌️KAT

When you cut it and it's first exposed to oxygen momentarily, it will bloom. It's called, it'll redden up just a little bit and then it'll instantly start to brown out unless you pump gases into the packaging for about 10 minutes and artificially create this like red pinkish color. So we get that question a lot. And it's like, they're like, your meat's not fresh because it's brown. It's like, well, actually it's way fresher. Our meat is brown because five minutes later, it turns to that brown color and then we flash freeze it.” The FDA says pumping it full of this toxic gas is safe. Critics argue it mislead consumers because the meat can look fresh even after it has spoiled, potentially hiding spoilage signs like off odors or discoloration until the package is opened. In America there's no requirement to label meat treated with these gases, which has led to debates about transparency and consumer rights.
