I am pleased for him. I think at this level you have to be a good player you just sometimes lose your way.

So genuinely happy that Dier has started so well at Bayern. One of a few players that have left Spurs that I want to see do well.

So happy for him. We all forget that he had plenty of good stretches for Spurs. He just isn’t meant to play for Ange and his high line and he sure wasn’t meant to play for Conte and José where the defense is bunkering in all game. Playing like that mistakes were going to happen.

Never doubted his ability and he was a great servant for us, he just lacked the pace to play the high line. German league suits him down to the ground and I am delighted he is doing well
