That interview makes me furious, and I understand why Mac doesn't mention Michael in interviews anymore. No one listens to him, no one understands when he talks about his friendship. They expect him accuse Michael, but that will never happen. He is a friend. Michael had a friend.

I watched the Michael Jackson movie, and I absolutely loved it. Michael had an extraordinary, once-in-a-generation talent from the time he was just a child. But I think that kind of gift also came with a loneliness most of us could never fully understand—and he carried that with him as he became one of the biggest superstars the world has ever known. And yet, he never seemed arrogant. He had such a pure, gentle, beautiful soul. His music, his dancing, his performances… everything about him moved me deeply. I don’t understand English very well, but I don’t need to understand every word to know how extraordinary his music, his performances, and the life he lived were. Some things reach you beyond language. When Michael was alive, especially later in his life, the media treated him like a pack of hyenas. It was cruel. I really hope we get to see the rest of his story in another movie someday.
