A human physician needs to sign off. Otherwise, who is to blame if the diagnosis is wrong? Where is the true accountability? AI is great for some things, but not as a sole, autonomous "diagnostician."

The doctors don't understand that we still need their interpretation because while I see where the issue is i still don't see WHAT the issue is. So yes, professional eyes still needed.

AI shouldn't be in charge or taking over anyone's job... It only knows as much as it's programmed to know... Grok and other AI search engines that "gives you facts" literally uses google to look up all the information and decides a view point on all of the information you can to.

AI radiology tools are at best in the low to mid 90s in accuracy as of this year. Nobody is going to accept missing 7-10% of cancers because AI is cheaper or some other bs. What you are seeing is called computer aided detection, and has been around forever.
