Horizon Air Embraer E175 flying from Seattle to Redmond diverted to Portland on Monday due to an issue involving the hydraulic system, including control of the nose wheel steering. The crew declared an emergency and landed safely.

@KeithPDXAir Back in the day when I rode motorbikes - that was known as a "tank-slapper" when the front tyre blew out and shook so violently that the hands were hit against the petrol tank. The event lacked humour I can tell you!
