Being a scientist is still the best job in the world. The constant frustrations, all the crap that goes with trying to keep the lab alive and move things forward - it all resets and washes away in those occasional moments when we catch a glimpse of nature revealing something remarkable and not seen before. This has been a good week - I saw a few completely amazing, wild new things; it will be a total slog to get them polished and out, but it doesn't matter because they've been seen and a new piece of the roadmap is revealed. Just feeling immensely grateful for the opportunity, and mentally sending a message back in time to childhood me (and anyone else who dreams of this now).

We expect politicians to lie most of the time. To betray us for their own gain, and to take advantage of us. We have seen and experienced this more than enough times for us to be wary of it. What we do not expect is for the family of a girl fighting for her life to deceive us and, on top of that, to use her to do so. This man, masquerading as a concerned family member and victim, has been caught claiming that he will use Yumn and stage a video "thikolhun beynun vaa gothah," and keep her there needlessly for "a long time." While I support the fight for justice and rights, this movement has been too muddied up by the elements that have infiltrated it. This is no fight for #JusticeForYumn or any other justice, as we can see in this chatlog of Mooch. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted, Mooch. To use her to sensationalise it just to get more cash for you is beyond words. Its no wonder sex offenders like Rashwan and liars like Shiman are organisers. A nice little symbiotic relationship between Mooch and politics.

His message is still relevant today because we still live under the same capitalist system that has to change for things to get better. “You’re living at a time of revolution. A time where there’s got to be a change. People in power have misused it. And now there has to be a change and a better world has to be built. I will join with anyone, I don’t care what color you are, as long as you want to change this miserable condition that exists on this earth.”

The past year has seen me have a renaissance, in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.

President Carter’s time on this earth is coming to an end according to his grandson Jason Carter. What a great man. At 99 he has accomplished so much. With an election coming up let’s remember all he has done for voting rights. Jason Carter: "My grandfather is doing okay. He has been in hospice, as you know, for almost a year and a half now, and he really is, I think, coming to the end. I’ve said before, there’s a part of this faith journey that is so important to him, and there’s a part of that faith journey that you only can live at the very end and I think he has been there in that space."

All your anger is natural. I’m not defending his Instagram post but guys there’s a thin line between hate and criticism. Ik he has a diverse cult fan base and enjoys some liberty in certain areas because he always has his people's back. That said he also needs to be extra careful with his actions so they don't get upset. No matter what people say he has always been proud of you all and proudly flaunts his fandom everywhere whether on TV shows or in interviews. He always mentions his Elvish Army and has always said how grateful he is for your love and support. From now let's try to drop this and move forward. After all he's our brother. The other side is highly manipulative. But Elvish also needs to understand the more distance he maintains from such people the better it will be for his professional work. There are so many good projects lined up please don’t ruin everything because of this. Elvish Yadav we all respect your professional commitments but the post you made yesterday was completely unnecessary. People have been connected to you for a long time and if you expect them to suddenly switch sides, that’s never going to happen. All we want from you to stay away from people who take benefits of your modesty and innocence.

Regarding the Eric Trump / Daniel Cormier “text scandal”, I am open to being convinced otherwise, but I do not believe for one second that Eric Trump would text something so stupid to Daniel Cormier. It’s laughably stupid on its face to think that Eric Trump would ask a UFC commentator if any of the fights are “rigged”. That he would ask it in writing. And that he would not, for example, just pick up the phone and call Dana White or Joe Rogan himself. That said, I just want to understand what happened. Daniel Cormier said he was hacked. Is that to say he was hacked at the text level, or the X post level? Did he in fact make the post, and delete it? If he made the post, did he do it as a joke to illustrate how absurd the text hack was, but realized how the post could be misinterpreted as real? Or did someone make the post from his X account he subsequently deleted it. I know there are some who are going to say he made the post in earnest, thinking the text messages were real, intending to call out the “corruption”, and he has since been threatened, deleted the post, and claimed “hack”, etc. I can tell you exactly why I do not believe, even if he made the post, he did it believing the text message was real, intending to call out the “corruption”. If Cormier seriously thought the text messages were real, he would understand that by posting it publicly, it would literally destroy the UFC, his livelihood and his legacy - in addition to the legacy of everyone who has ever competed in the UFC. There is no realm of the universe in which even if it were in fact a real text that he actually received from Eric Trump, he would post it publicly. Because it would mean the end of the UFC. I just want to know if he actually made the post from his X account, or if the entire post was the result of a hack (hence the subsequent deleting of the post). Serious and sincere questions for clarity that would benefit everyone Eric Trump

23 year old David Puig is having another great season, finishing inside the points in every event on the LIV Golf League to be 10th on the Standings and finishing T11 or better in all 3 DP World Tour starts. He’s been a model of consistency but is without a win and he says it’s something he’s looking forward to the challenge of trying to overcome: “I’ve been having a really good season and playing very consistent. I think I’ve been doing well in every part of the game if you look at my strokes gained. Lots of birdies, some eagles, but too many mistakes to be winning events and it’s something I’m really looking forward to, the challenge of minimising the mistakes and trying to get it done this year. “There’s times where I’ve made the right decision, it was just poorly executed and a few unlucky breaks here and there that stopped me from winning. But I’m looking forward to the challenge and really happy with how I’ve been playing.” David is an electric player to watch who is not scared to take on tough shots and can get hot at any time running off strings of birdies. His speed is his biggest asset but it’s something he says he needs to learn how to utilise: “I might be a little different than the average player. I hit the ball pretty far and that makes it a bit more challenging when I’m out of position in the rough. We’ve caught a couple of fliers where the ball reacts different than expected out of the different lies and that makes it more challenging. But I’ve just got to learn from those mistakes and keep getting better. “My game is getting into good shape. I’m positive with the way I’ve been working on and off the course to get to that point that I can get the win. I’m excited for it and I’m learning. I just need to keep the mistakes off the card.” David is playing this week at LIV Golf UK by JCB and it’s a course which he says he enjoys. He also played well here last season coming T11. Hopefully he can continue his great form this season and contend again this weekend at the JCB Golf and Country Club.

I've rewritten this several times, but I can't find any better way to say it... so here it goes. One of the things I'm scared of most, is time. Particularly, time that is wasted. There's a sundial that hangs on my wall with an inscription that says, "I have done nothing good today, I have lost a day." X has always been a place where I wanted to put out things that didn't waste anyone's time. Whatever post I put out, whatever thought, whatever story, comment,... whatever it was, was worth the time for you to read it, and for me to create it. Because I know, in my bones, that the time we have is precious and thought of wasting even a minute of yours or mine doing something worthless, is genuinely one of my greatest fears. As we were walking down this mountain together, my son looks up at me and says, "Dad... God made me VERY good at hiking." I laughed and say, "Yeah he did!" A couple minutes go by and he stops, he turns at looks at me, and goes: "Dad, God made you VERY good at work and work is very important..." That got me. I often worry that my work pulls me too far away from my kids. Even more than that... ...I know that what I do on X does cause and will cause life to be harder for my kids than if I chose to remain silent Walking off that mountain, one of my deepest fears about wasting time was answered by the very person I was afraid I might be hurting. As a dad, that means everything.

This particular video of Trump arriving home last night, with his tie in hand, after a full day of campaigning, really gets me. He doesn’t have to be doing any of this. He gave up so much to endure non-stop abuse, backstabbing, lies, slander, targeting of his family, attempts on his life, and general bullsh-t; and yet there always seems to be a critic out there. He does all this because he knows what this country and its people are capable of, he loves them and wants them to experience the country of opportunity he grew up in; a country that is a force for good.

Anybody that has pants in the US it's going to be good for." Tesla doesn't import any finished vehicles into the US. Every Tesla sold in the US is currently built in Texas or California.

Last year a video went viral of a fan shouting, 'I love you, Kate!' at Wimbledon. The fan turned out to be a Catholic priest from Kentucky, Father Jim Sichko - a cancer survivor himself. He says of Catherine: 'There was a sense of such respect and an honor at this woman, at this individual, who happens to be a princess and who happens to really exhibit what I believe the world needs in a time of great despair. Burscough football club would not like to only wish Goodie a massive good luck but we would like to thank him for some great memories in the short amount of time he’s been here. Goodie has been recalled by Everton to go back into the Squads. In the time he’s been here, he’s been a massive personality and a great keeper. He will be hugely missed on and off the field. We will continue to support and watch as his career progresses as we know how far he can go. What a player, what a kid and thank you to Everton for your help. Thank you for taking me on the journey of a lifetime, my dearest Alex. To every heart that has watched our film- Thank you. Thank you for seeing her. And for feeling seen in her. nothing is more touching than seeing nicholas bravely take a different path to follow what he truly wants to do, telling both the boys and us, his fans, directly through that clip acting and becoming an actor has been something he’s wanted for a long time. so, whatever decision nicholas makes, we must continue to support him and hope that it leads to a bright future full of happiness he has worked so hard and gone through so much. i hope everything he’s given his all for turns out successfully on the path he has chosen sending my virtual hugs… i know this is hard for us who were hoping he could debut with the others. but seeing nicholas share that with a smile and determination in his eyes, there’s no reason for us to feel down for too long 🥹🫂
