For her to say James will “follow the evidence” is wild after she just said all that. Both these creatures are partisan hacks who’ve already made up their mind, no investigation necessary. Cornell 7 are cooked. This shouldn’t be allowed to stand, even if one or all of them did rape. Due process matters. Her words here were so irresponsible.

I am fully onboard with Cornell being investigated over their handling of this situation. We know now that Jane Doe told university police three weeks after the alleged assault that she’d been coerced and she was 100% sure she’d been raped. I disagree with her statement at that time, and it contradicts what she initially said in texts in the immediate aftermath of the event, but all of that aside, these words apparently never made it to the Tompkins County DA. Instead, he got a six-page statement that said no assault occurred. What makes this even weirder is that Jane Doe SIGNED that statement. So either someone is lying, or something wasn’t properly communicated back in 2024. And even though I don’t believe an assault occurred, that needs to be looked into—how it is that we have a university and a local DA giving two diametrically opposed narratives of what was communicated to the DA; that matters—regardless of whether a raid occurred. But none of the above means it’s ok to act like it’s a done deal this woman was gang raped. This is not a cut and dry case. She never claimed she was held down. She never claimed she was assaulted while unconscious. Instead, she says she agreed to a lot of the initial stuff and then felt coerced as the night wore on. It’s not okay to coerce someone into sexual activity, but these men were also very very drunk, and like Jane, not fully in control of their faculties. She eventually consented; it’s not ok to pretend this is exactly the same as a woman who’s raped and never consented at all. Plus, we haven’t even proven any coercion took place at all! This is despicable.

This is what a dedicated statist does. Forget innocent till proven guilty. And who does she appoint as a special prosecutor? Letitia James, the NY attorney general who got elected and made a name for herself manufacturing crimes and criminal charges against Donald Trump.

Once again, how could anyone possibly vote Hochul into office Any office Much less governor
