That there is no plan to include rapid transit in this new build is shortsighted. Using Hwy 1 expansion as a distraction from a TransLink BC starved South Delta is beyond frustrating. There should be skytrain to both BC Ferries and US boarder.

@TransLink @BCFerries I agree with the Potential transit to BC ferries, but we don’t need transit to the US border. “Border” However, currently, I think there are buses that go from the existing skytrain transit system straight to the BC ferries .

@TransLink @BCFerries Spellcheck gave me boarder. I think South Delta and South Surrey/White Rock deserve rapid transit lines. You are entitled to your opinion that it’s unneeded.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. But the tax base doesn’t support it. I’m not against it. I think an even better transit system would be a win for everyone. 😊👍 What I’m saying is when it comes to making fiscal decisions, the taxpayer base in that area does not make it a viable option at this time .

@TransLink @BCFerries How long has Hwy 1 expansion been happening and how many more years until it will be completed?

@TransLink @BCFerries Our “Skytrain” is literally the most expensive technology per kilometre you can buy in the world. It should be reserved for the highest density people moving areas only.

@TransLink @BCFerries Skytrain to the us “boarder” is a really dumb idea

@TransLink @BCFerries The North Shore is in the same boat. Worst bridge traffic in the city, no skytrain, minimal bus service to the ferry terminal. Surrey/Langley get all the attention.

@TransLink @BCFerries You wouldn't have the money to build it even if you raised taxes to 120%.

@TransLink @BCFerries Skytrain to tsawwassen could mostly be at grade, cutting some of the cost; sorry I really think people of White Rock would put up roadblocks to keep LRT out

@TransLink @BCFerries And some developments want to reduce parking spots..but, how do people expect people to stay connected?

@TransLink @BCFerries Skytrain expansion has been mishandled for years The BC Liberals missed a great opportunity to have Skytrain at grade from 200th to Braid station when they did the Port Mann expansion instead opting for Rapid bus This falls on all sides of politics

@TransLink @BCFerries 100% agree on the sky train extension to bc ferries. Esp if trains on Victoria to vancouver sides, the trip would take about 2-2.5 hours as opposed to the current 4-5 hours, the boost to the economy would be massive, and would improve lives. High speed rail to border makes sense

This is how much this man hates South Africa and Africa. He lies that there is a white genocide in South Africa. He made this speech yesterday. He continues to lie that there is a genocide in South Africa. That is why I do not understand the African idiots who support this man. You have to be a big black African idiot to support Donald Trump. South Africa is the biggest economy in Africa. It has taken care of millions of Africans, giving them an opportunity to pursue their dreams and to feed their families. There are millions of Africans living in South Africa, and yet Donald Trump is trying to destroy that economy that helps many Africans to sustain a decent living. And yet there is a black African who supports this man and sees Trump as a hero. Trump is an idiot. I do not care about him. But I am astonished that there is a black African somewhere in Africa seeing Donald Trump as a hero, and yet the same Donald Trump is trying to destroy the biggest economy in Africa for no apparent legitimate reason. South Africa has done nothing wrong to America, nothing wrong to Donald Trump, and yet yesterday he made this shameless speech. This makes me absolutely angry, livid, to know that there is an African out there who supports this idiot. He is running his racist refugee programme. He has blocked all other black nationals from Africa from seeking asylum in America. That is fine. We do not care about America. But he is using his racist programme to try and destroy the very mainstay of African economics, because that is what South Africa is to Africans. There is no country in Africa that does not have its nationals in South Africa. It takes a certain level of ignorance and idiocy for any black African to support and hail this man as a hero. This man wants to destroy our continent, and yet some African idiot is out there twerking for this guy.
