Welcome to the Alor Valley in Diaoyuan Ancient Village Diaoyuan Ancient Village is located in Xingqiao Town, Jizhou District, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, 18 kilometers away from the city. The village was built in the late Tang Dynasty, which is inhabited by the descendants and the fellow clansmen of Ouyang Xiu, a litterateur and politician in Northern Song Dynasty. It is a thousand-year-old village of Luling culture with unique Jiangnan characteristics. There are more than 150 ancient Ming and Qing buildings preserved in the village, which can be called a living museum of Luling culture. Diaoyuan people have inherited the literary style and family precepts of their ancestors, and have been virtuous from generation to generation. There are 9 metropolitan graduates, 32 provincial graduates and 27 officials above the fifth rank in the government, which vividly demonstrate the ancient Luling cultural history. Diaoyuan Ancient Village has been rated as the first batch of traditional Chinese villages, famous historical and cultural villages in China, provincial ecological new countryside, provincial 4A rural tourist spots, national 4A tourist attractions, national ecological cultural villages, beautiful leisure villages in China, and the first batch of famous tourist village with "unique scenery".
