That's now 10 consecutive scoreless appearances for Devin Williams. He's allowed two hits over that stretch (and the second of them probably shouldn't have been a hit).

Nestor Cortes last night for the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers: Four scoreless innings, three hits, no walks, two strikeouts, 54 pitches. He told reporters afterward that he would have at least one and probably two more rehab starts before rejoining the Brewers.

Carson Benge with another three-hit night. He has four multi-hit games in his last five tries and 11 total hits over that stretch. Since April 23, Benge is batting .305 over a stretch of 105 games.

The Northwest Baseball had a great week of MIAA action this week, going 3-1, beating Washburn in a midweek and taking a HUGE series victory over No.3 MSSU. Connor Polli was nails out of the Bearcat bullpen today, going 5 shutout innings in relief to get the win. Polli hasn't allowed a run in his last 3 appearances. Speaking of great, Ryan Williams has been great with a 9-game hit streak and a 6-game RBI streak. Williams is the team leading hitter at .400 (3rd in MIAA) Trey Morris had 7 hits and 6 RBI over the week, now at a team lead 45 RBI (3rd in MIAA). #D2Baseball

Caleb Durbin can't stop racking up the extra-base hits. That's now 6 straight games. Also, 3 of his last 6 games have been multi-hit performances.

David Stearns was asked if Devin Williams would be the Mets' closer if the season started today: "Yeah, and we're very comfortable with that. I've certainly seen Devin perform at a very high level for a long time. Have full confidence that he can be one of the best relievers in baseball. I think he's very motivated to do that and I'm looking forward to watching that."

How about Lander Baseball, ripping off wins in 14 of their last 15 games, including a weekend sweep on the road at Augusta? Grant Sherrod has been on FIRE lately, hitting .484 in this stretch with 5 homers and 24 driven in. He leads the team with a .400 average. Evan Wickeri has been on a mission! He went 3-for-5 with a homer and 3 RBI today. He's hit .394 in this stretch with 10 doubles, a home run, and 17 RBI. He's now up to .380 on the year. #D2Baseball

THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE GAME-WINNER: #Bears quarterback Caleb Williams MISSED a wide-open wide receiver Devin Duvernay for an easy touchdown. Cris Collinsworth pointed out on the broadcast that Williams has missed three wide-open, easy passes tonight.

This video shows two distant parachute flares being used as targets. An A-10 flies in and releases countermeasure flares near them. It looks like it hits them, but it does not. You can see the flares being released just before it "hits" the second target. The video was on YouTube in 2017. Location is probably near FOB Shank.

I've been restoring old Pokemon animations for a long while now and I still get impressed by how much more expressive they were in the pre-XY 3D games. And the fact that basically all of them have been unchanged for over a decade is just sad.

Kyle Schwarber (+250) was the most-bet player to hit a home run for Phillies-Twins. He hits one off the wall that would have been a home run in 14 of 30 ballparks.

Now that Black Ops 7 has been out for over a week, what would you rate the MP mode out of 10?
