Yes, when the crusher picks up a car, my code sets a flag to disable some of the physics/collision. This avoids the car colliding with the crusher and glitching. If the car is rescued from the crusher, the flag should be cleared but isn’t. A D-bug at most.

Indeed - I'm sure it's trivially fixable, but considering how complex the setup is, I specifically decided against fixing it in SilentPatch. It's treated as an "easter egg" of sorts and doesn't impact the gameplay negatively at all

I remember when I somehow trigged this while I was messing around with the debug menu in RE3. Never was quite sure how I did it, but it confused the hell out of me when I realized the car was getting wider

That pisses me off the most, because it's a fun bug that requires an elaborate setup - but when DE released, stupid people started showing it off as if it was happening unconditionally and forced their hand to fix what otherwise is completely harmless.
