🇷🇺 The aging evil humanoid, AKA Putin, made a statement today about Europe deploying peacekeeping troops in Ukraine after the war. Even the most rabid Z-patriots, like ЖИВОВЪ, are beginning to have their doubts about the Kremlin’s narrative: “Putin said that the deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine (under... any pretext) would mean war with Russia. What does this mean? Under the current plan being pushed by Ukraine and the EU, immediately after a ceasefire, Ukraine’s allies are planning to deploy their contingents in Ukraine to “maintain the peace.” This has been discussed many times over the past few years. Obviously, something along these lines was also discussed during the latest round of diplomatic talks, and such a position is unacceptable to Russia. Apparently, there was a need to publicly draw a “red line.” Add to this Lavrov’s recent reminder that a war with Europe would be very short-lived, and you get a general picture of what they are thinking in the Kremlin. And in a certain sense, this is a dead end for all sides. Europe wants a ceasefire along the line of contact and the deployment of troops; Russia wants its regions, the demilitarization of Ukraine, and no foreign troops. The war will not end until Kyiv accepts Russia’s terms. Kyiv, meanwhile, is waiting for some kind of developments inside Russia after which the Kremlin will “agree” to any terms.”show more
