@ALERTCalifornia Monterey resident here. My colleague is saying that there is rain falling over the ocean off of Moss Landing/ Watsonville But there aren’t any indications on the weather sites like Noah. Something is going on with the toxic plume I suspect.

The fire is currently estimated at 15 acres. VCSO has issued evacuation orders for the Cal State Channel Islands Campus and fire resources are in place evaluating any potential structure threats.
