Today is a big day for Herb! It's built into Rails 8.2 by default for all HTML+ERB views. My talk at #RailsWorld in Austin today answered three questions: What is Herb? What ships in Rails 8.2? And what does this enable? Herb v0.11 and ReActionView v0.6 released alongside it.

Herb has the opportunity of giving Rails apps everything JSX gave to React, without all the horrors that JSX gave to JS.

IMO this is all that you really needed to know/hear from today when it came to Brad's thinking He does not feel like Jaylen is worth the 35% cap hit. Plain and simple. At a lower cap hit? Sure. At 35%? Clearly the answer is no Now, whether they replace the salary slot with a different 35% caliber player or split that into pieces, is what is now TBD

You define your dashboard in YAML or TSK, and the tool will serve the HTML file for you. It comes with skills for Claude Code and Codex, so they know how to build these dashboards. And you can connect this to Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, and many other databases. Repo link below.
