🎬 the mysterious benedict society (2021)

That’s why I used to read the entire exam before working on it 🤣 I had teachers that would make exams intentionally like that, including a question that was never covered, it was a way to test our problem solving skills. In life you aren’t going to know everything.

someone said they once took a test that began with "read every question before you start." the final question simply said, "do not answer any of the questions"

Ha! Almost reminds of the mind games in the ninja Chunin Exams. The rules were “don’t get caught cheating”. Meaning cheat but don’t get caught. The goal was to test the ninjas ability to gather and communicate information in an impossible situation which is a valuable skill.

Its called “The Mysterious Benedict Society”.

I have a question? Why do they hire adults to play little kids? This actress is nearly 40. Or is this character supposed to be an adult?

Bold they made the black girl: Clumsy Stupid but with high inflated sense of self A cheater Low morals

So the test was simply designed to test one’s ability to pay attention to details. The answers were hidden right in the questions and only a calm and collected individual could decipher the patterns if they have impeccable memory.

Title of the movie pls

it's a series, the mysterious benedict society (2021)

Thanks so.much sir.

I never liked this puzzle because assuming that the light becomes hot doesn't actually seem much more valid than assuming the builder will place the switch a certain distance from the stud. These days LEDs don't even necessarily need to become hot.

This dialogue is ridiculous. It sounds like it was written by stupid people trying to sound smart.

The boys solution only works if the bulb is incandescent which the teacher never specified

But he cheated too. He obviously brought a 2nd pencil.

Teacher should just be like “who the fuck told you it was an old style bulb? It’s an LED you IDIOT!”

I had a teacher give us a test sort of like that. Instructions were to read all the questions first. The last question was super simple and said to skip all the other questions.

The most important skills a school should teach, is reasoning. Unfortunately, this is the most neglected skill taught within the modern school system.

my question is why ruin this with that shitty music and horrible audio compression

@thedivineRei Seeing as Disney+ canceled it before season three is the show worth watching? I don’t wanna be left on a cliffhanger that will never get answered.

there are multiple switches for different lights, bright, normal, dim or based on placement. I got auch even home.

this was a trick in alice in borderlands too 😭

It’s the dirty switch.

See the film bias? They didn’t let the black girl seem educated by littering her give a smart explanation to the first problem. Instead they made her seem like the problem child by first dropping her pencil then they made her a cheater who still failed.

TV Series: The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021)

Wonderful clip, but could you please repost it with the background music twice as loud so that we’re not able to hear any of the dialogue. I was able to hear & understand too much of it on this post.

Wait until nightfall when it's dark outside. Turn off the room light. Then turn each light switch on while looking out the window and look for light from the above room shinning through its window. 👀🤯

I automatically thought this was a Wes Anderson movie until I read the comments.

The boy is clever, the girl is smart but also egotistical and so arrogant that’s she’s blind and open to error. What if it was the 1st or 3rd switch which is completely possible regardless of likelihood. She’s gonna shit herself or what?

I had a "write your name, and draw your favorite animal on the back" test before 😂😂😂 Make sure you read all of the instructions

I thought we all did this on test

@grok what's the rating of this movie

They all gave brilliant answers

Or just flick all 3 1 by 1, whichever does nothing is the upstairs one.

@grok what movie or show is this?

Broke the immersion when an AA woman is a cheater. They never allow that. But then you realize…without ever seeing this show that she is an agent. Perfect record hollywood. 10/10

The girl failed to realize the existence of any electrical box sincerely containing more than one switch. Is this the first non-residential room she has ever been in?

Why do I get the suspicion that she was given the answers as a plant to test whether other students would cheat or not. Not as an actual test-taker, but as a test herself?
