I bet 95% of the public haven’t got a clue about this…from Dec 26th whether you want it or not Folic Acid/Folate will be added to ALL publicly sold bread (other than wholemeal). Yes it benefits pregnant women, union babies, infants, BUT it also has been linked to cancer over the years. Should we not be given a choice…but no it will be mandatory in all bread, pizza bases, pastries etc.
