SF either have ethics or they do not. We cannot pick and choose when an unborn baby is either human or a "clump of cells" . A mother can still grieve and regret an abortion just like a stillbirth. Abortion is not a form of birth control it is murder.

Losing a baby is one of the most heartbreaking and challenging experiences any parent can face, and they deserve our full support. Sinn Féin Minister Caoimhe Archibald is bringing forward paid leave for parents who experience a miscarriage, coming into effect from April. We are also working to introduce a baby loss certificate scheme and paid leave for parents whose babies require neonatal care. We will continue working to ensure parents receive the support they need and deserve.
