🇷🇺💥 Russia has destroyed at least 210.000 buildings in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion 👉This is more than if the entire Manhattan was wiped off the face of the earth four times, writes The New York Times. 🔺Mariupol suffered the most - in the spring of 2022, the city was almost completely destroyed. The Russian army partially or completely destroyed other Ukrainian cities. Among them: Marinka, Rubezhnoye, Bakhmut, Irpen, Zaporozhye, Orekhov, Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka, Aleshki, the ports of Reni and Izmail. 🔺 The largest cities of Ukraine - Kiyv, Dnepr, Odesa, Chernihiv - also suffered from missile attacks. Now, in an attempt to advance to Kharkiv, Putin’s army is turning Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region into ruins. 🔺 The scale of madness and terror that is happening in the center of Europe in the 21st century is simply beyond belief . But most of all I can’t wrap my head around the fact that the main culprit of all this is still sitting in the chair of the “president” in the Kremlin, and not in the dock of the tribunal in The Hague.

It is very symbolic that our meeting with representatives of Ukrainian Jewish organizations took place in a Kyiv school: a Ukrainian school where children study Hebrew and Jewish culture among other things. This is one of the many reflections of how rich Ukraine is in its diversity. For obvious security reasons, we held today's meeting in the shelter of this school. We discussed the ways to tell the world more truth about Russian aggression and our needs. It is important that everyone who really has influence helps us, helps us to protect the sky, our cities, and all the children of Ukraine. Russian murderers and torture chambers are unable to march further into Europe because they are being held back by Ukrainians holding arms under the blue and yellow flag. There used to be many white walls of houses and churches in Ukraine, but they have now been burned and damaged by Russian shells. This speaks volumes about who needs to stop for the war to end. Everyone who defends life and people is carrying out the most honourable mission possible in the face of such an inhumane invasion. And we must fully protect life in our home. I am grateful to everyone who supports our defense and defenders. When Russian evil launched this war on February 24th, 2022, all Ukrainians rose up to defend their country. Christians, Muslims, Jews — everyone. And I am grateful to each chaplain who is with the army, in our defense forces, on the frontlines, protecting life and humanity. Those who support others through prayer, conversation, and actions. This is what the Church is: one with the people. Not two and a half thousand kilometers away—somewhere, looking for a virtual meditation between those who want to live and those who want to destroy you. I am grateful to everyone in and with Ukraine who is making every effort to protect life. I thank everyone who helps, who is truly close in deeds and prayers.

Today, I hosted Secretary Antony Blinken for a detailed discussion of the battlefield situation, support for our soldiers, and ongoing defense cooperation. We discussed the need for Patriot systems in Ukraine to protect our cities and communities, such as Kharkiv and the surrounding region. Two Patriots for the Kharkiv region could significantly contribute to the protection of lives from Russian terror. We also talked about preparations for the Global Peace Summit. It is important for us that the United States and President Biden participate and that America's role in maintaining rules-based international order does not weaken. I am grateful to the American people, the United States Congress, and President Biden and his team for their support in our fight for freedom and independence. We appreciate the United States' decision to continue its support for Ukraine, and we discussed how to best implement the announced aid packages and get weapons into the hands of our warriors as soon as possible.

Today, during our meeting with Dutch Prime Minister, we focused our discussion on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, including new air defense systems and the missiles for them. We also talked about F-16s for Ukraine and all the necessary weapons for our defense against the Russian occupiers, including shells for our soldiers, essential equipment, and the protection of our energy infrastructure. I am grateful to the Netherlands for announcing a new assistance package for Ukraine. We also discussed the possibility of the Netherlands taking on a patronage role over Zaporizhzhia, which would involve supporting infrastructure, protecting normal life, and addressing humanitarian issues. This is something that will definitely help Ukraine, and we deeply appreciate all the support from the people of the Netherlands, from Prime Minister Schoof personally, and from all the political and public figures in the Netherlands. Today I was in Dnipro and held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the Dnipro region — currently the number one region in terms of contribution to Ukraine’s GDP and in many other key economic areas. I thank everyone who is preserving and creating jobs in the region, everyone who is working for Ukraine and for the benefit of Ukraine. We will continue all government programs that have proven effective and that support our production and our economy. There is still more we can do to support our industry — I’ve instructed government officials to fulfill what the entrepreneurs have asked for today. Ukraine’s results are shared results — the achievements of all those who have chosen Ukraine, who are actively working for Ukraine, and who are ready to do whatever is necessary for our country to endure and achieve its goals. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.

However, the world has all of the resources to assist us in intercepting every missile and drone fired by Russian terrorists. This is completely doable. All that is required is for the necessary political decisions and agreements to be implemented. What Ukraine needs is air defense systems, a sufficient quantity and quality of weapons to ensure our frontline actions, as well as prompt delivery and steadfast action. Terror must always fail, and everyone who assists us in combating Russian terror is a true life defender. Ukraine is grateful to the United States and all of our partners for their decisions to support our country and its people. We must make every effort to ensure that life prevails.

Since the beginning of this June alone, Russians have used more than 2,400 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. Of these, around 700 have been targeted at the Kharkiv region, striking our positions, our cities, and communities. Such Russian strikes are also being carried out daily against Donetsk and other frontline and border regions. Ukraine needs the necessary resources and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs, particularly Russian combat aviation wherever it operates. I am grateful to all our partners, especially the United States, for their strong decisions that have helped us stabilize the situation in the border areas of Kharkiv. We have gained the ability to destroy Russian missile launchers near the border and concentrations of Russian occupiers. We need to continue making such decisions. The significant reduction in Russian missile terror against Kharkiv and the region proves that it is absolutely possible to secure our cities and communities from Russian bombs. Therefore, modern air defense systems for Ukraine – such as Patriots, accelerated training of our pilots for F-16s, and most importantly, sufficient range for our weapons – are truly necessary. Necessary for the protection of lives – and solely for this purpose. I thank everyone in the world who supports us in this. Russian terror must be defeated, and this is in the interest of everyone who wants to live in a world without war, which terrorists always spread whenever they do not lose.

Special attention is now to Kharkiv and the consequences of Russian strikes on the city. Today, unfortunately, four people were killed, including three rescuers from our State Emergency Service of Ukraine because of a "Shahed" strike on an ordinary residential area. They arrived at the spot after the first strike and then the second hit happened… It is a vile Russian tactic. My condolences to all the families and friends... Today I spoke with the military about how to provide more protection for Kharkiv – specifically in terms of air defense. All our diplomats have the same task. Bolstering air defense for Kharkiv, the entire Kharkiv region, Sumy region, and the southern regions is an absolute and urgent necessity. And I am grateful to every country, every leader who is now in communication with us looking for opportunities to help. It is totally unacceptable that so many countries in the world are still pondering about how to counter terror, even though there are only a few political decisions needed – a few air defense systems that could fundamentally change the situation. We will continue relevant work with our partners.

This is a war of global significance. This is a war for our state's right to exist, as well as for everyone's right to life. This is a war for the dignity of our people and every nation seeking its own destiny. This is a war to prevent anyone from daring to become a beast toward others. And the bodies of our people, which were found on the streets of Bucha, demonstrated that no one in the world can stay away from this battle. Because it is here, in Ukraine, through the defense our people, our lives, and our state, that humanity is prevailing. To unleash such aggressions against others, Russia first destroyed its own morality and turned violence and hatred into its ideology. Such systems do not simply stop. They are brought to a stop by force. Unity stops them. Determination and an understanding of what they want to destroy is what stops them. I thank everyone in the world who really helps us. Glory to our strong people, our warriors! Glory to all those who defend humanity and life! Glory to Ukraine!

During our conversation, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis Kyriakos Mitsotakis and I discussed ways to expand the security space in the Black Sea, as well as protect the frontlines and all of our cities, including Odesa. Ukraine requires more air-defense systems. We were also briefed on the operation of the grain corridor and the security situation in the Black Sea. It is critical to strengthen the security of the port infrastructure. We also spoke with the military command about the current situation in the Odesa region and on the southern frontline, as well as measures to counter the Russian fleet. I am grateful to Greece for assisting our state and society in protecting life.

The command posts of the “Kharkiv” Operational Tactical Group and the 13th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Khartiia.” The commanders reported on the combat operations to defend the Kharkiv region, inflicted losses on the enemy, and the upcoming tasks for the liberation of Ukrainian cities and villages. I was briefed on the digitalized analysis and management system developed by the “Khartiia” Brigade. We discussed tactics for countering Russian drones to protect our people, the use of electronic warfare and interceptor drones. I presented state awards to our defenders.
