For upper back thickness, rowing movements are key. Seated cable rows, one-arm dumbbell rows, and close-grip T-bar rows were staples for building that mid-back detail.

The muscle is impressive, but that waist-to-shoulder ratio takes this physique to another level.

A physique can look impressive from the front, but the back reveals another side of muscle development. Balanced proportions matter because bodybuilding is about developing the entire body, not just the muscles people notice first.

High ➡️ Low Cable Rows = Lower Lat Thickness + Dense Mid-Back This angle biases the lower lats, teres major, and mid-back fibers by pulling from shoulder height down toward the hip. ✔️ Builds that “V-taper” look ✔️ Improves lat tie-in to the waist ✔️ Better mind-muscle connection vs standard rows Cue: Drive elbows down toward your back pockets. Control the stretch.

Your core and back are the power pair behind a strong, aesthetic physique. Every pull, lift, and twist begins at your core and runs through your back.

That chest thickness is impressive. Incline cable flies put the upper chest through a deep stretch with every rep.
